Jst Roof Repair

On the first meeting I specifically told him I wanted to see the shingles before he ordered them. He ordered the color he thought that I wanted and had it delivered to my home charging me $1,700 for the shingles. He was trying to pressure me into using the shingles even though I did not like them and charged me a $40 trip fee to swap out the shingles, (a fee he said I did not have to worry about at first). He told me that he could start the job the next day, and did not end up showing up until five days later, and arrived late causing me to be late for work several times. The shingles killed a big part of the grass in my yard during the duration of the job, while they stripped my roof and left the shingles in my yard for days. He claimed it would be $300 to dump the shingles, I informed him that I had the signed contract with that included and he argued with me being extremely verbally aggressive, while cursing and yelling loud enough for my neighbors to come out and see what the problem was. I have a 1,500 sq ft. roof and it took approximately nine days for the job to be finished. During this time, he expected me to provide food for him and three other workers everyday, after only putting in 3 - 4 hrs....claiming he had another job, or it was too hot. He was hot because he arrived late and was drinking beer on a roof. While his workers were here early waiting on him, (Jeff Thompson). He would be upset and rude to them because they were here early, but they were just trying to be on time. That's probably why the three jobs I know of had different workers each time because he would use and abuse them. I noticed one day he dumped a pile of wood outside my gate, I kept reminding him to move it...he ended up leaving it in my yard after the job. I had to load it up in my car and dump it. Now I have little spiders all througout my car...still!!! He also never installed new ridge vents stating at the last minute he ran out of shingles and had to swap them out without ever telling me, I paid good money, an extra $200 for them and the pack of shingles probably cost him $20. So, a week goes by it rains and pours...I came home to a flooded kitchen, causing problems with my stove and it lead to new excessive mold growth throughout four of my kitchen cabinets, after time. I called him immediately and his phone was cut off...After three days, his pre paid was back on and he said repeatedly for three days he was coming that day and his ear was hurting(something was always hurting)...and then his phone was cut off again. I looked in my attic and they did not replace the wood correctly and there was no flashing at all over the nail holes or the stove vent area. I had to pay out good money to have all of this replaced!! I'm a 27yrs old and that was most likely the most stressful and expensive experience I have ever been through. I had my final exams that entire two weeks, and this situation was no fun at all..!
