Thankfully he was very patient, I had people renovating my home and had to run between people. He quickly found the issue and was quick to fix it when he came back with the part.
Description of Work: Temperatures for freezer and fridge weren't stable, causing the icebox to leak. Issue was with the motherboard, he changed it out. Temperatures are now stable, no more leaking.

I used Harlow services through my home warranty. I was pleased with them. When I called them that afternoon I didn't have any heat and when I told them I had a baby in the house, the owner personally came to get my emergency heat working so I would have some heat. The part for my heat needed to be ordered and it took about a week to get in. The service tech came out a week later and fixed the problem. I did give them a B in punctuality because when the part came in and I was given a time for them to come out, the service tech was running late on the call before me. It would have been nice to get a phone call to inform me. But he did stay until 9pm to fix the problem.
Description of Work: My heat had stopped working around 330am and we were having a really cold spell. I have a baby and the temp in the house was around 60 degrees!!! A service tech from another company that came out that morning told me it was a broken evap coil and my unit was leaking freon.

I have requested Harlow's Services for A/C and Heating work orders from Old Republic. When Old Republic can accommodate my request, I have been very satisfied with the excellent work of the Harlow staff. Mr. Jim Flood, Mr. Vernal, two other gentlemen whose name escape me at the moment, and the Customer Service staff have always acted with the utmost professionalism, courtesy, and respect. The most recent repair required the complete removal and installation of brand new units. Despite the quirks of the new and unfamiliar system, the crew did an outstanding job. They were punctual and stayed on track with the installation plan. I would recommend Harlow's Services for your most challenging heating and cooling needs.

It was a scam. They will collect fees and report false reports.
Description of Work: They work under the guidance and direction of AHS. They did provide a good oral guidance but they changed their story to meet AHS standards. They couldn't repair the unit however they did continue to collect the fees. They kept telling me my unit needed my freon. Their employees were not educated.

Excellent! Fast and efficient.
Description of Work: This is the second occassion which Harlow Services was called to my home by Old Republic Home Warranty. Last year, they fixed the upstairs heating unit after we first bought the home and fixed it in a very timely manner. Yesterday, the main heating unit for the main living area stopped working. They responded quickly and got the replacement part this morning and are now installing it. I am extremely happy with the high quality of their performance and would wholeheartedly recommend them for future A/C and Heating repairs.

On 12 June, I called in A/C repair for my small unit upstairs. 60 days later my A/C is still not cooling up stairs adequately.AHS has accommodated me with around 7 contractors out to fix/replace the system. The first visit was Certified Services. On the first visit, the representative inspected the system annotate low pressure on the ride on the condenser. He added Freon and left. I called by and AHS sent him again. He diagnosed the valve needed to be replaced. The value was replaced to be recalled because my A/C is still not cooling up stairs adequately. The representative then diagnosed the compressor replaced last year needed to be replaced again. Certified heating air replaced the compressor to be called two later because my A/C is still not cooling up stairs adequately. AHS sent Harlow Heating and Air service. The representative told me he thought the unit needed to be replaced and he was going to report this to AHS. He did not provide a written diagnosis. The AHS representative called me and informed Harlow reported the compressor will be replaced under warranty. Harlow services came in three days. I called the AHS representative two days to report my A/C is still not cooling up stairs adequately. Harlow services came again and the representative thought my filters were advanced and putting a strain on the systems. We pulled out both filters and he would return two later hoping for a better report. I a called two later to AHS to report my A/C is still not cooling up stairs adequately. Harlow services came out and provided Freon. I called AHS the next day to report my A/C is still not cooling up stairs adequately. Harlow services representative inspected and informed me the valves needed to be replaced. I called AHS four or five days and requested a diagnosis. The deceptive report received from Harlow Services was ” the system is working properly and suggested the home owner install attic fans.” (Harlow Services, 11 Aug 11)
Description of Work: Harlow services actually came out to my residence several times. Each time a different explanation for the fault with my air conditioner. Finally, the provide an excuse and claimed the system was working I needed to install attic fans. I appealed the diagonisis and another contractor came out and fixed the air conditioner. The contractor told me, they left moisture in my system. They replaced my condensors twice. They came once and removed my filters and told me to try it again. They came out twice and added freon. Don't trust them. When in doubt, they add freon.
