WORK DONE: on approx. 9/10/07; COST: $960.00. Craig was going to refurbish my tool barn. Craig was very nice but he was going to do it his way. I wanted the side that was low (in damp) lifted. He lifted the wet side by putting a small board all along the area. Would have been better if it had been stone. Next he installed a light that didn't work and he had to come out again and re-install (wires were crossed). Put new door on the tool barn. Added a small storage area behind the tool barn. Wood used was substandard or very shabbily cut (I took pictures). Shingle was added but no attempt was made to seal or caulk the new utility shed. Was going to remove & put in steps by our doorway but talked my husband out of that. Instead, Craig pulled out the rotted step & put it in backwards but the price of overall job was never amended. The utility vents were 3-4 inches in diameter (very small). Light was never installed because I believe he knew his connection didn't work.
Description of Work: WORK DONE: on approx. 9/10/07; COST: $960.00; Raised utility building and level (USED WOOD UNDER ONE SIDE INSTEAD OF STONE OR CEMENT); Removed old door and install new one; Added light and switch (LIGHT NEVER ADDED, SWITCH DIDN'T WORK); Installed 4 vents (THEY ARE ONLY 3-4 INCHES); boxed and trimmed front of building (WE SEALED IT OURSELVES); built utility closet in rear (NOT SEALED, BADLY CUT - WE HAD TO USE WOOD FILLER TO FIX); re-worked shelves (ONE SHELF WAS CUT); repaired rotted steps on stairway (TURNED ONE STEP AROUND - OLD NAILS LEFT EVERYWHERE).
