I had heard great things about Daniel Fitch owner of Fox Hollow. I was looking for a professional landscaper who could provide me with a detailed drawing of a complete landscape design. We had set aside a budget of $10,000 for landscaping our over grown yard. My first meeting with Daniel was very good, he seemed to understand what I was looking for and very knowledgable about plants. I paid him $200.00 to put together a complete landscape design plan. It was a couple of weeks later when I had my second meeting with Daniel, I was thinking he would show up with a professional landscape design plan. I was wrong he had no such plan and he only provided me with a quote. He did eventually draw something out on paper only after I insisted to see something. I went ahead and hired him despite the lack of a plan. I had him start in our courtyard. His team pulled out old bushes and had new ones in, in 2 days. It looked great and I was happy with the results. Next, he put down grass seed in our front yard and convinced us that it would grow, we were prepared to put sod down but he said it was not necessary he would get the seed to grow. He also planted some foundation bushes in the front of our house. It all looked good and I was pleased for the most part. It was not until several months later that we realized that none of the grass seed was taking off and called Daniel to see what was up. He said he would take a look at it and get back to us. About 5 phone messages and several months later and still no sign of Daniel we finally gave up. We did eventually get sod from another company and are redoing our backyard now. Had Daniel not blown us off he could of had several thousand more dollars in his pocket. I'm glad my money is in someone else's pocket who appreciates my business and has good business practice, because Daniel clearly does not.
