I was very happy with the job they performed. They were very punctional. I really like the designs in the curbs. She told me how to take care of the curbs. The concrete isn't chipping.

First let me say she takes great pride in her work and it shows. Next let me say she works very hard. Once she is in her zone you can tell she is all about work. Next let me say my curbing looks great. I know have people knocking on my door asking about my curbing. Temp was in the mid 90's and she worked from 7 to 5 without taking a break. Neighbors now all want curbing too. Makes my wife smile when they all tell her how nice our yard looks with curbing. Wife spends a lot of time working in flower beds and now curbing makes it look even better. I will have to say I like the way it looks too. Plus I hated stepping over the old bricks, I would always knock them down and get in trouble. Almost forgot when she came out to give estimate she has an artist eye and redrew all the wife flower beds. Now they look so much better then before. She did things we never thought of but look so much better. To use that was worth the price alone.

Shani and her team are fantastic!  The work they did is beautiful.  They installed custom curbing in front of the house to frame a flower bed and a circle around an azaleas bed.  She made some great recommendations about the install which we did not think about but after she said what she did, it only made sense.  She had our best interest in mind and was looking out for us.  They are not the cheapest but as with many things you get what you pay for.  I would recommend her to my friends and neighbors.

Shani not once but twice put concrete/curbing over sprinklers. She tried to blame me by stating I signed a contract stating I would mark all sprinklers. I never signed a contract nor did she tell me to mark any sprinkler heads, I asked for a copy and she quickly back tracked. The curbing is starting to fade after less than a year. I have tried to contact her multiple times with no response. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Her response was she would remove the curbing and refund my money. I called and left her two messages asking her to remove her curbing and for a refund and never received a response. Buyers beware, I have spoke to a few friends in the area that have had work done by Curbing Creations and all have had some kind of issues. I would not use Curbing creations again nor recommend them to anyone.

It went great. The company works hard and is eager to please. The price was more than reasonable and done with expertise. Thanks to this company. McEachern family

First let me say Shani Gates, owner of Curbing Creations is hands down the best in her field. I have seen many projects done with concrete curbing over the past several years and Curbing Creations is by far the best. When I first met with Shani to come up with a plan for our home, she was able to visualize what I could not. She will help to guide you toward a finished product that is both beautiful and fits in with the style of your home. We could not be happier with the work she has done. It is simply gorgeous and has changed the look of the landscape to a very finished, unique outdoor space.



I would like to take a moment to address the gentleman who gave such a negative review. I was stunned to see this! In reading his review it seems that most of his dissatisfaction stems from concerns about his irrigation system. As a homeowner, I have learned a lot over the last 20 years and my most recent homeowner "education" has been the fact that there ARE certain things that you, as a homeowner are responsible for; your irrigation system is one of them. It is incumbent upon the homeowner to be aware of where your lines and sprinkler heads are and if you are uncertain, it's your responsibility to find out. If you are still not able to do that, the blame does not suddenly shift to those who come to your home to do a job. Personal homeowner irrigation systems are not under the same category as electrical and telephone lines, therefore, it is YOUR responsibility. With that said, I have to further praise Shani and her team because they do indeed take great care with such things that really do not fall to their responsibility. They were careful with everything in our yard and would point out a possible problem that I wasn't aware of. I am certain that if Shani or her team saw something that could affect or cause damage to a homeowner's property, they would do their best to handle it with care.



Shani and her team were not only punctual, but when I arrived home from work after various projects had been completed, I would not have even known they had been there, but for the beautiful curbing I came home to! They are efficient, creative, professional and very caring. They clearly take great pride in their work and I would, and have recommended this company to anyone who sees and loves the curbing that was done at our home.



Again, it is a shame that someone who simply doesn't seem to be aware of what his responsibilities are as a homeowner, then can give such a negative review of a professional and outstanding company. Curbing Creations is hands-down A++ in every category of their work!

This is the second time I used curbing creations and I should have learned after the first time. The first time she had place a $1300.00 slab of concrete over a sprinkler head that cause further issues. She did come back out to fix the issue, however now I have a crack through the middle of my custom stamped concrete. She wanted to share the blame and stated it was my responsibility to show her where the sprinkler heads were, this was never mentioned to me prior to her putting in the concrete.
This time around she called while I was at work and said she had another job cancel in the area and would like to do some repairs on the concrete and put some curbing in on the side to help with drainage issues I had. AND SHE PUT THE CURBING OVER ANOTHER SPRINKLER HEAD. I tried to call her to discuss and she did not take my call, I sent her a text the following morning to let her know and the first thing she did was place the blame on my wife. She stated that her and my wife looked for the sprinkler heads prior to, that did not happen. Not to mention the sprinkler heads stick up an inch out of the ground and she had to dig down to put the curbing in. Her and my wife never did as she said. The landscaping company that came out to fix my busted sprinkler and redirect it around the curbing were shocked that she did not see it. She refuses to take responsibility for her actions and now I am stuck with the end result. I would not recommend curbing creations to anyone.

Shani and her team arrived bright and early and provided many ideas as we were unable to make up our minds. She was patient and provided many designs from her book that she had readily available. Once the design, color, and additions were settled on, she went right to work. I couldn't help watching her teamwork as I was in awe how the process took shape. It was a great day for curbing and the weather cooperated fully. Her team worked from start to finish with no breaks and spent about 3 hours to complete the job. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up after they were done. My curbs look great and we totally love the one of a kind look. I want to thank Shani and her team for a wonderful landscape job that was worth the wait.

She came out about a month before the work was to be done for an estimate and look at the area. She was very thorough and offered suggestions. When it came time to do the job she was on time and worked very quickly. Maybe a little to quick, she missed a sprinkler head and poured concrete over top of the sprinkler head. A few days later I turned on the sprinklers and noticed water coming up around the concrete. I contacted her immediately and she was willing to help. She agreed to fix it and came out on a Saturday to identify the problem. She said she was going to bring her landscaper out on Monday to rerun my sprinkler lines. They came out and reran the sprinkler lines around the pad and capped the line that ran under the concrete, only after a good part of my yard was dug up and my 2k concrete slab had a crack in it. The backyard was not left in the same condition as it was before she started. Dirt was left in various locations, holes not filled all the way in, sod not laid even to ensure it will take, meantime I will end up footing the bill in buying new sod to replace the sod that was dug up in the process of trying to find the sprinkler lines. She did try to fix the problem, unfortunately I will end up paying to fix my yard.


*** Update****  Shani recently contacted me to address my concerns. While we agreed to disagree on certain things she remained committed to customer satisfaction. If  the sprinkler head not been an issue she would have easily receive an A+. Given all of the circumstances I would use curbing creations again. It is hard to find a company with good customer service as well as someone committed to their product.

Shani Gates is the owner and she's really good. What stands out about her are her pricing, her punctuality, her knowledge at the work and everything else. I would give her an A++ on everything.
