I called to schedule an estimate they Never showed up despite reviews. Just a waste of my time giving all my I for to have no result no follow up either we went with another company on Angie's list. Very unprofessional

I am very disappointed with this company. I found so many good reviews for them, so I called and made an appt for them to come out and clean my yard of all the leaves. They never showed up. Just another company that is unreliable.

They were very professional and very prompt. I am going to use their service in the future.

This is an amedment to my first review. i was so surprised and upset at how the owner behaved, I had to let other consumers be aware. I hired this company in August 2013. He seemed nice and he charged the same amount as the larger companies. I hired him because I wanted to support a smaller company. I didnt like how there was no bill but I agreed to his system of having the customer leave a check somewhere on the property, for him to pick up after the service. I told him this didnt seem optimal to me for a billing process but he assured me it worked well for his other customers. So I hired him. I have a small lawn and the quality was fine. He came every other week and the day of the week changed a few times. I understand people getting sick and weather issues; if there were a bill that came when service was rendered it wouldnt matter as much. But I didnt want to create a hassle because he seemed nice and I wanted to support a smaller business. I did finally call him recently because the check I left out had been there for quite some time and I wasnt sure how often or when he was coming. And I didnt want to leave a check outside for an undetermined amount of time. So I actually called him and even agreed to his suggestion of some additional work. Then, I received a surprisingly unprofessional and immature text to my personal cell phone on the weekend. He said he read my angies list review and was very unhappy about it. Which is odd as I was very generous with a B overall rating. I replied him back that I was honest with my Angies List review, as I had been with him when I hired him. But with this kind of unprofessional communication, I would need to terminate his services. He replied back with an even more inappropriate text, that was offensive and harrassing. i still cannot believe the unprofessionalism of Cross Creek Lawn. He read my Angies List review and took it personally and went on the offensive. A professional would either used the review as constructive criticism or have called me and asked what he could do to improve. I would have respected him, continued his services, and even improved my review. As it is, I will be sure to caution my family and friends about this business.

We visited our rental property and the yard looked great! We referred this service to our tenant to use. Thank you!

He does not have a lot of time so we needed to wait 4 days for him to come out and give an estimate. He explained that he will be at my house between 11:00 and 3:00. He did not show up. He did not call. Not very reliable. Will be going with a different service provider for this project. Do not recommend this company if you have a yard project needing fast attention.

The first time I called they did not return my call. Then I called again and made an appointment and he forgot. I called him half hour after he was supposed to come over and he said he forget as he was on another job. We made another appointment and he came out with his assistant. I told him all my ideas and plans. He was really nice and he said he would make a plan and give me a quote and he took pictures. I never heard from him again. I kept calling. I realize this is a very busy time. It is frustrating that they don't get back to you.

Yard debris was collected, driveway and sidewalk to front entrance edged. The yard looked great!

Mr Crabtree, did an outstanding job with our yard, grooming it, and carefully making sure he protected what we did not want removed. He was very professional and what stands out about him is he wants to do a job with excellence! He loves his work and takes pride in it. When he came we went over every detail of what I wanted as we walked around the yard and him giving some suggestions that even enhanced my ideas. I am so pleased with the results he accomplished. He has stopped by several times checking on the work he did making sure everything is ok. We have had several people compliment us on the results.

They're honest and do a good job. They need a little work on their responsiveness and punctuality but it isn't bad.

Every aspect of the project went well. My property sits on a double lot that had a lot of over growth that had to be cleared out. It was no issue for them. I also had them lay down some sod also. They did an excellent job. Very professional and kept to the timeline to complete the job.

They are a good company that does great work. They take pride in their work and are a small, locally-owned business. I will use them again in the future.

From the very first time he came to my home to give me a free estimate he was very professional and know what he is doing when it comes to all aspects of landscaping. The job is done well and fast everytime he comes to my home. He cleans my yard every two weeks and he shows up on the day he is suppose to come. I can always ask him advice and he is always willing to help me with any questions. We keep a great line of communication and I never have to wonder if he is showing up to clean my yard. He is the best lawn maintenance man I have ever had and as long as he provides his services I will never let him go.

I got their information and gave it to my husband, but I wasn’t there when they did the work. They did okay. There were a few old staff that was inaccurate, but they did good work. The price ended up being a lot more expensive than the initial quote, but it was on par with what everybody else was offering at that time as well. We would use them again in the future.

They were efficient and did a good job. The price was also reasonable.

The guys arrived and took a look at my backyard and were ready to go to work immediately. They mowed down the weeds and took the weedeater to the corners the mower couldnt reach. Also quoted a very reasonable price for mowing my entire lawn twice a month. Both were very friendly. I would definently recommend these guys to anyone.

They did an excellent job. Bryan does the mowing - while Richard zips all over the place with his weed eater. They move so quickly that they look like a blur going by. Very thorough and very professional.

I hired Mr. Crabtree and his associate, Richard Ryan, based on the overwhelming positive reviews on Angie's List and after meeting with Mr. Crabtree, personally. I needed hedges trimmed (and debris hauled), weed eating, edging, and some other general lawn care tasks. After meeting with Mr. Crabtree, I felt comfortable in hiring him to mow the lawn, too.I met with Mr. Crabtree on June 19th, and we were able to get the work done on Thursday, June 30th. Once he and his partner (Richard) arrived, they quickly went to work on a day that was very hot and humid. Despite the heat, they worked quickly - and they teamed up on the tasks very effectively. Because I asked them to mow and do some weed eating tasks in an additional area, I paid them $100.00 more than our original verbal agreement. I found Mr. Crabtree to be a very friendly and fair gentleman, and I felt like we both were in agreement that the price was fair - for the work to be done.I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they worked to complete the tasks, and I was very happy at the end result. The hedges looked great. The edging looked nice. The weed eating work was thorough. The lawn looked very nice when they were done. All in all, they did a professional, thorough job, and I'd hire them again - without question. It was a pleasure to do business with them. In my opinion, the other Angie's List laudable reviews for Mr. Crabtree's services were completely accurate - and well deserved.

Very courteous and professional. Owner Bryan Crabtree personally gave me an estimate and mowed my grass, edged and prepped my bushes for pine straw mulch. Showed up on time for the lawn service. He really tries to schedule my lawn maintenance to MY convenience. This is the first time I have ever hired a lawn service. Did not require me to sign a contract, but have hired them to mow, trim edges and maintain/trim my bushes every other week for $100.00 a month.

The work was great. They did exactly what we asked to have done, and it exceeded our expectations.

Everything done to my satisfaction and have arranged a monthly service.
