We had these clowns come out to deal with a mole issue we had. My wife initially met with them. I showed up when they were working out a time to treat our yard. The first guy kept telling us that we didn’t need to be present for the job but over the years we’ve learned that without being around the job rarely gets done properly. So how did he get around this, by sending a guy out to treat our yard in the dark. The second guy showed up at 610pm and at my door by 615pm. I covered what he was supposed to do, which he had a look as that wasn’t what his boss told him to do. He said he was putting down poison granules to kill grubs. I looked out my window and he was walking around my yard with a hand spreader. 15-20 mins later he was back at my door telling me he was done. I knew he didn’t do anything. With a push spreader I can’t do my front yard in 15 mins. He was supposed to do my front and back yard. After he left, I looked and nothing was on the ground anywhere. So I canceled the check. No work, no pay. I contacted them and told them I canceled the payment and why. No where in the conversation did they ask how to fix the situation or they will be out to see what wasn’t done. All they wanted was their money. They called my wife wanting their payment and sent a threatening letter about their payment. Nothing about fixing the situation. 2 days ago, they sent the guy back out for the second non-treatment with the same guy. I was looking down at the guys hand spreader and all he had in it was air. He spread air in my yard. Don’t use these idiots. All they want is your money. If you do use they insure they aren’t spraying water and spreading air. $525 down the drain and yes my wife caved and paid them. First 2 pics are front yard and second 2 are backyard. No granules.

Our landlord used Clegg's for pest control. Immediately afterwards our sons pet got sick. We took him to the vet and they said he probably ingested some poison and if we could find out what chemicals were used for pest control, he could be treated and would probably survive. When we contacted Clegg's they were rude, ignorant and wouldn't give us any information that might help us save our pets life. Ultimately, he died from whatever was sprayed in our home. Now I question how it might affect our health.

They set poison traps and so far, it looks like they're working.

They performed work on one of my rental properties and all went well. I have not been able to make it out to the property for a visual inspection and will make an update to review if necessary after visiting the property. I am satisfied at this point and enjoyed working with Dennis and the Clegg's team.

Went well and they were finished fast. Going to keep a returning contract. Pleased with work and price.

The initial call was for a combined estimate for termite treatment and yard spraying. (It was different teams and ratings for the termite treatment versus yard spraying, so there is a separate entry for the termite treatment). I called Clegg's for an appointment for an estimate. JJ arrived as scheduled and gave me an estimate for terminate treatment and yard spray package. The yard spray estimate seemed very steep, but got a "better price" at $300 due to the termite package. The mosquitoes are such a nightmare due to ponds/stream nearby that I had to give it a try. The yard spray man arrived as scheduled and first said he would spray the house. I did not know that was included, so had not moved anything away from walls or prepared inside. He walked through the house quickly and sprayed along a few sites along the walls, but not the closets. The process didn't seem very thorough, but since I didn't have a huge inside bug problem, didn't worry too much about it. For the back yard (patio + lawn + small woods) I was expecting a very comprehensive spraying of the perimeter and then gridding out the yard to make sure the brush was thoroughly covered. I gave the man about ten minutes in the back to get started before I went to check to watch how this was done and he was almost finished with the entire front and back yards (total of about 20 minutes). He said he would see me in a few months and gave me a receipt for spraying with zero balance (because it was part of the termite package). I told him I didn't have a quarterly contract and we were both confused. The man was very polite and professional at all times. I told him I would work with the office to resolve the confusion. Here is where the admin part gets a bit crazy. I never spoke to JJ about a quarterly spraying contract, just trying it one time, so figured there was some confusion with the scheduling office and field man. He told me that quarterly spraying was $65 each time, so not sure why I paid $300 for the same thing ($65 seems more realistic). I called the office to inform them I had not signed a quarterly contract for house or yard spraying. I ended up getting three more calls questioning this, so wonder how Clegg's offices are set up that they could not get this right with the first call. Then to pay the bill, I was called at a family event to pay the total (termite treatment + yard spray) immediately by credit card - not a problem, but didn't know that was going to be the procedure. I thought I would get a bill in the mail or by email. I would definitely recommend Clegg's for termite treatment, but not the cost or effectiveness of yard spraying. A few weeks later, the bugs were back in my bathtub and mosquitoes and gnats were biting as ferociously as ever outside.

I called Clegg's and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. JJ came out as scheduled and gave me an estimate for termite treatment and yard spray for mosquitos (rated separately). The estimate paperwork was pretty straightforward, but I had to verify the fuzzy carbon copied information on my copy. I was surprised that there was no guarantee to pay for future damage like other companies claimed, just a promise of retreatment if I kept up the annual fee - at least I learned that up front. After negotiating the price and what would be included, he had me document my request via email, including the agreed final price, so he could go ahead and have the termite team set up a time at my convenience. They were very accommodating about my work schedule. The two man team came out close to the appointment time, did a thorough job of drilling, trenching and infusing the Termidor pesticide (fipronil) for about 3.5 hours. They made sure the drilled holes were as inconspicuous as possible along the foundation and inside the garage. They quit promptly at 5:00PM with part of the house remaining, but luckily I had time off work the next day. The team came back for another hour (one different man) and finished the infusing of the holes, sealed every one with cement and cleaned up very nicely. The team steadily worked hard and got the job done. Other than the necessary hundreds of filled holes needed to get the pesticide under the slab, the house base looked clean and neat. As far as the billing, I thought I would get a bill in the mail, but was called while at a family event to immediately pay the bill in full with my credit card over the phone. I didn't mind paying quickly, but didn't know that would be the process. That would be good to understand up front. I went with Clegg's even though they were a little higher estimate because when I asked the chemical name for the Termidor, JJ honestly stated he did not know, but would get back to me with the information. Another company gave me misleading information, claiming their product and costs were cheaper because they used the "generic Termidor." I looked it up later and found out it was a completely different chemical - ignorance or deception? A third company never answered their phone, but I couldn't delay getting the treatment done. I was happy with Cleggs termite service (separate review for yard spray).

I have been satisfied with the services so far. If I call them with a problem, they come right out and take care of it. They come out when they say they are coming out.

Their cost is pretty good. When we were looking at companies that kind of spray for we had a lot of trees and stuff in the backyard. We were trying to find something that could control the mosquito population, and they were using natural stuff. It wasn't so harsh to the environment, and they were the one of the only ones in our research that offered that service and chemicals were mild. They also did a termite inspection and stuff, so we really discontinued the contract with the termite service and realized that they offered the other services for the other things. They put in dehydration systems in houses to control moisture levels which could potentially lead to mildew and stuff like that.
