Mr. Wike came over at the scheduled appointment time. He was very professional and courteous. He seemed to be knowledgeable about the work I needed done. He went over all the parts of the house that would need repair. He said he would write up and estimate and get back to me. I contacted Mr. Wike twice after he visited our home, left messages both times (I also believe I sent him a text message too), and I never heard back from him again. Never completed an estimate or returned any of my calls.

Chris was a consummate professional. He accurately quoted the price and stuck to it. He even did a few extra modifications as the project progressed that he didn't have to. He communicated with me continually and stayed flexible. He was punctual and he and his guys were respectful of me and my property. Altogether, I am very pleased with the outcome and will not hesitate to use his services in the future.

We never heard back from him. He was told we needed it as soon as possible. He stated he had a job to finish up and would give us a call when he was ready to do the work.

Chris and his team did an excellent job and went above and beyond what was expected of them, Chris' quality of work was way above our expectations. We would recommend him to anyone who needs any work of this type done. I was able to do this at one time but do to injuries sustained in Afghanistan I can no longer do this. His work is of superior quality and his professionalism rates very high with my wife and I.

Bottom line - we could not have been more pleased. In fact, before Chris could finish painting our house, we contracted with him to return to add on to our existing deck. My wife and I subcontracted the building of our house about 10 years ago, so we have lots of experience with subcontractors. Chris would clearly be at the top of our most favorable contractors. The positive feeling started immediately when Chris first arrived at our home for an estimate. He walked around the home, examining every little detail, and then surprised us when he said he wanted to paint our home by hand (and not using a power sprayer because it would look better). We were even more surprised when his very detailed and professional quote arrived and the price was comparable to other contractors who wanted to spray the home. We decided on Chris and almost instantly, were rewarded by our decision. It took Chris (and his very professional and dedicated crew - James and Jimmy) about 2 1/2 weeks to clean, paint and repair our dormers. Every day, they arrived before 8:00 and immediately went to work. I hardly ever saw them break and they worked hard every day right up or close to 5:00. Their work was highly professional, better than my wife and I could have done - which is saying something because we both pride ourselves on doing things better than others. They had all of the right equipment and worked in a logical, detailed, organized way. I'm being very serious when I say that my wife and I firmly believe that they worked as if they cared as much as we did about the final product/appearance. As I said earlier, perhaps the best endorsement I could provide is that before Chris was half-way through painting our house, we had seen enough to ask him to quote us a price of extending our existing deck, which he will do in a couple of weeks. Chris and his crew did all of the work, from moving furniture off the porch, taking down and then putting back up the outdoor speakers. He quoted us for painting the entire house and he did, all with a good attitude. I never once heard them complain, about anything! It was clear from the beginning that they knew what they were doing, from selecting the paint, prepping the house for painting and then actually painting. We never once had to question what they were doing. In fact, more times than not, I walked in from checking on them and told my wife, "you're not going to believe what they are doing now...." (followed by something that was very positive). Their priority was making my house look good and they did. They were extremely courteous and respectful. They even warned us when another neighborhood cat was bullying our cat. They cleaned up every day, stacked their equipment out of the way and returned the next morning and went straight to work. Almost every day he asked what we thought and encouraged us to examine the work they had just completed and alert him if we saw anything that concerned us. Chris never bugged us for payment. In fact, usually we were the ones that asked - is this OK for this week? We had worked a plan where we would pay in thirds, but when we started, because we purchased the paint (to receive a better sale price than his contractor's discount - which he returned the savings back to us), he was happy to save the majority of the payment until near the end of the project. When he was close to finishing, he returned all of the savings off the project back to us. Although we felt a little guilty paying less than quoted, he assured us that the final price was a fair deal. Our neighbors would asked what we thought of Chris and we would tell them, "you can't have him until we are finished with him!' I believe he'll spend some time in our neighborhood because like many of you, we all want a contractor that we can trust to do the right things, even when nobody was looking and would take as much pride in their work as we would. As I said, he's coming back in a couple of week and if we ever have any other home projects, he'll be the first one we contact, without any hesitation and reservation. Yes, they are that good! My wife and I are absolutely delighted with Chris, James and Jimmy and thrilled about the work they did. We are completely, 100% satisfied and grateful that we decided to allow someone else paint our home. We were never disappointed with them, in any way. We would be absolutely delighted to recommend them, even to our closest friends and family, in full and complete confidence. They earned our trust.

We called Chris to see if he could take down an old Sunsetter awning and put up a new one. He arrived at the appointed time and after looking at what we were wanting, agreed to do the job even tho he had never done this before. We stayed in touch and he took down the old awning, patched the holes that were left from the mounting brackets. He then waited about 2 weeks for the patio to be pressure washed by another company. He arrived on time at the agreed date to put up the new awning. During the wait time, he watched a Sunsetter supplied DVD on installation. He and James installed the new awning perfectly!! It is a pleasure to do business with someone who is as professional andreliable as Chris. We will be doing business in the future with him as well as telling friends and neighbors to contact him with any work they neeed done around thier homes.

Chris is absolutely great. He's a consummate professional and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. He's very versatile and can handles any repair situation. He looked out for our interests and understood our perspective as landlords. All of his repairs were extremely reasonable and he worked with us on a flexible schedule and payment plan. He's definitely a keeper! I've also arrangement for him to complete future repairs and large construction projects on the house. All the work was done very professionally and with materials and craftsmanship to last!

We hired a previous person to do our siding and they were horrible. The siding kept coming back down when they said they put it up right. I fired them and I called Chris. They were very professional and got the job done on time and since he and his crew showed up and redid our siding we have not had any problems since. He is EXCELLENT at what he does and I would recommend him over and over again. They also cleaned up after they were done and were careful not to damage my lawn even parking on the street which was awesome compared to the guy we hired before him who left materials and was sloppy. Chris is very very prompt and the job was WELL DONE. I would and will hire him again. Thanks so much for a job well done Chris Wike and crew.

This project went very well, from start to finish. Mr. Wike and his employees were always prompt when arriving for work and they worked the entire time they were at our home. If they were unable to come out on rainy days, he gave us a courtesy call to inform us when they would be returning. Mr. Wike and his employees installed the siding on our entire home with such professionalism. They were neat and cleaned any debris from the installation. I admit I was skeptical at first but Mr. Wike's knowledge of the product and the other details of this project put my mind at ease, as he demonstrated to me that he knew his business very well. We have had other companies perform improvements to our home but none with such professionalism and courtesy that was displayed by the employees of this company. I will call Mr. Wike for any improvements to our home that we may need in the future. Anyone on Angie's List needing home improvements of any kind should definitely call Mr. Wike first and I am certain they will be as satisfied with his and his employees' work as I am. It went well, they did everything they promised and in a timely manner and in a professional attitude. They took pride in their work and actively participated in the artistic aspects of the project. i was very happy with the outcome and the men in the work crew.
