We called Rick for an estimate. He came out on time as scheduled, walked around the property, and listened as we tried to give him a vision of what we wanted. My husband and I had a rough idea of what we wanted but had no idea what could actually be done. He immediately started some scetches and threw out ideas he thought we would like. He told us exactly how the deck would be constructed and what materials he would use. He had a book of examples from previous jobs. After looking at the book we had some more questions. He took the time to survey the area again with us and we evolved on the deck plan. He also told us what questions to ask when we got any other quotes to make certain the work would be equivalent. He gave us a fair estimate and an estimated start date. Rick and his crew were very pleasant to work with and they did everything they said they would in the estimate. We also have 2 chocolate labs that are very hyper, the whole crew was great with my dogs when they encountered them. The deck is beautiful and huge. We are very pleased with the work. We would hire Rick and his crew again in a heartbeat! I would recommend this company!

Rick came to the house, measured the yard, told us how he does his fences and gates, and even had a book with pictures of previous jobs. He gave us an estimate, which was $1000 less than the first company we saw. A week after the estimate we called and told him we wanted him to do our fence. At the time he said he was about a month out and gave us a date when he could come. About a week or 2 after that he called saying he was waiting on supplies for another job and could do ours early while he waited. He came out (2 weeks earlier than originally estimated), put the post and cement in. Two days later he came back to finish the fence. Him and his crew even stayed about 2 hours late to finish it for us rather than coming back the next day. They were very professional, price was spot on. and they explained maintenance and care for the fence. We had 2 gates put in, one single gate and one double gate. They are the best gates I've ever seen-very smooth, no dragging on the ground, good quality construction.

Every project on time (excepting weather and materials), at budget or over (with our consent). Rick and his crew are a pleasure to work with, leave a clean job site and are quick to check back to make sure the inspector showed, that we are happy with the work.; in short we are happy with every facet of the work he has done over the years.

called Rick for a estimate and he came out and gave me one for 1,200.00 and we talked about the date to start the work. I had 80' of side yard to fence in. Rick and his crew showed up on time and got busy setting the treated post and then came back the next day to frame the post and install the face of the fence. They followed the contour of the ground and got everything all square. The fence looks very good and is there to stay. Rick offered to come back and spray a sealant on the fence in 30 days to give the treated wood time to dry. I hired Rick and his crew again to install a 20' section of white vinyl privacy fence with solar post caps and a Gate Kit. Rick recommended to me that putting the treated post in with a vinyl post cover, would make the fence much stronger against high winds. The fence looks great.

Rick came out and surveyed the area in which I wanted the fence. He provided me with a quote and explained his craftsmanship. After he built the fence, I was extremely pleased to see that he built the fence exactly as he said he would. When my landscaper, who also builds fences, came out a few days later, he even remarked about the high quality of the craftsmanship. The fence looks beautiful and I expect that it will outlast most of the other fences in the neighborhood.

I purchased all materials before the job was started. I tore out the original bathroom and was planning on the city taking the wood away for me, but there was so much of it that Rick decided to take the wood away for me at no extra charge so he would have more room to work. Rick picked up the wood and drywall for me and helped exchange the tub I had purchased because it was damaged. He purchased a few additional things that were needed for the job and left any remaining materials at my place. He built a support structure for the floor out of pressure treated wood and the floor joists out of 2x8 boards. The floor was 2 layers of OSB and 1 layer of backer board before I installed the tile. The interior walls were blue Sheetrock and outer walls were regular Sheetrock. He installed a light/heater/fan combo in the ceiling, a recessed medicine cabinet, and a vanity light along with corresponding switches. The closet that was built needed the light switch for the room moved, so he rewired that and closed up the original light switch hole. Both the bathroom and closet doors were installed unstained and only the first application of drywall mud was applied, as was my preference. Rick was very communicative and explained everything to me every time I asked. He also was helpful when i needed to change something and returned the materials to Lowe's that were not needed. Plumbing for the tub, toilet, and pedestal sink were done by someone Rick hired and is not part of this review. I am rating Rick on his carpentry skills.

Rick was very knowledgeable when he came out to give us an estimate. His work and detailing on fence gates is what sold us. If you've ever seen a privacy fence where you have to lift and drag the gate, you know why. Rick and his guys were courteous, on time, and did a really beautiful job. Our fence is great! The gates are double framed with a support wire on the panel next to each gate to help reinforce it. Rick also installed a double latch on each gate without me even asking him to because he knew we had a dog and the double latch would help keep the dog from inadvertently opening the gate. They also finished ahead of schedule. I would recommend Rick for any home improvement job you have.

They did a pretty awesome job! He had superb customer service skills. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He did extremely good quality work. I have put up a couple of fences, and you can tell he is a professional. The fence is better than some I have seen around here. He was a little expensive, but it was definitely worth it. I would definitely use him in the future, and I would recommend him.
