Bell Cow Heating and Cooling

Competitive quote, awesome job. We now have hot water. Update: I am downgrading my review to a 2.5 star. The reason goes back to something that said and won me over and made me choose with Bell Cow but now turns out to be false, it has to do with the quote. When the representative came over, he stated that the water heaters will come with a Five year warranty from Bell Cow and if anything should come up with that time to call them they will help fix it. This is false. The representative also said while I can purchase the heater from a 3rd party and Bell cow will still install it, it won't come with this 5 year warranty from Bell Cow and I would have to deal with the manufacturer if anything should occur. However after the Water heater was installed I received a receipt and it stated 30 day warranty. I have been calling Bell Cow to sort this out but they keep saying they are busy and will call me back. It have been 5 months and I have not heard back from them. The Water heater is working there are currently no issues, but if something does occur, I guess I am on my own which is what I was trying to avoid when I choose this company. Advice: When ever you get a quote or a job done from Bell Cow Heating and Cooling ask for everything (I mean every single thing) in writing. Once they leave you will not get it.

The service person was pleasant and courteous. Took the time to explain a problem he ran into....finished the job and cleaned up after himself.

The service person tracked the problem to a water pressure tank (not drains as I thought it might be), offered 2 possible fixes I might try myself but I chose to have him replace the tank which I felt was a reasonable cost.

I was quoted $225 to install a toilet in a powder room that already had everything set up. I thought that was a bit excessive, but decided that even if I could find someone to install it for less, it would still cost me that same amount because I would have had to pay Bell Cow the $75 "Diagnostic Fee" (nothing to diagnose) for showing up. The technician seemed inexperienced and made the job more complicated than it needed to be. At the end, he applied caulk around the base of the toilet and asked us to leave it alone for several hours before using the bathroom. We left it for >6 hours, and when my 7-year old went to the bathroom, the caulk around the bottom leaked out onto our brand new floors. I thought about calling Bell Cow to ask them to come and take care of the issue, but at that point, I really didn't want them to come back into the house.

Way too expensive

Plumber came in, very friendly person. I was having a leaky commode. I left water on the floor so he could see where had leaked. He sat on my tub touched the commode tank and said, "I really feel you need another commode. I will come back and install it once you have it." He did not pull the commode off the floor to see if something was wrong underneath. I feel I paid $80.00 to confirm what I already knew! I did schedule for him to come back but decided to get someone else to come out. The flange was cracked. He would have known that if he had pulled off the commode. I feel I paid $80.00 for no work and a charge of $125.00 was the stated charge to come back to install the new commode. I felt this price was only going to go up once he came back. But, I must say every time I called the office or they called me they were very customer friendly as was the person who came out. Just felt like as a single woman I was being taken advantage of!

I was please with the job but I felt like I paid more then what I should have paid with the amount of time it took.

Didn’t charge me additional other than the $80 flat fee since it was a quick fix to the line on the top of the hot water heater.

The tech was over 2 hours late. No call letting me know and unapologetic. Cleaned the coils but did not vac out dust. Inspected it and said no rust good to go. Charged a little over 100.00. Now I have a popping sound right before fan shuts off and will pay someone else to look at it again. Very disappointed

Very courteous and let you know what range the charge would be before he started, if something new popped up he would let you know right then. He did outstanding job in fixing our problem, I would hire him again for any plumbing problems in the future,

They were entirely unprofessional and they didn't let me know that he was going to be late. There were a lot of complications with the project because he had other people and I waiting on him to get back with the part.

Melvin was very proactive, polite, friendly and educate me on what was going on with my system. I plan on using him (or his company) for my HVAC maintenance.

Bell Cow contacted me On 9-24-18 to replace some broken shower parts. The technician after a total of 5 minutes told me that my home is an older home so he would need to "look" for a suitable replacement part because Lowe's wouldn't carry the part. I was told I should hear back from them within 24 hrs and was then charged 80.00 bucks basically for nothing. After almost 2 weeks later I still hadn't heard anything from them so I called them back and basically just got the run around and excuses. Only after speaking to HomeAdvisor about what happened did I finally get a call from the manager Ron at Bell Cow. He apologized and assured me that this is not normally how he conducts business. He said he will send a tech out on 10-13-18. The tech he sent out today was very short with me . He said he would not touch any part I had on my sinks or shower because they were old. It was very clear and obvious that he didn't want to do the job. He then told me it would be $1300.00 for him to replace the parts which I thought was ridiculous. I had already been told by the previous tech that the cost would be around $500.00 if the shower cartridge couldn't be replaced . My experience with this company was not pleasant. Since they didn't do any work .. I can't speak on their quality of work. But based on people skills, customer service, punctuality, pricing (including the $80.00 fee to come to your home and do nothing), I will never do business with this company again .

We needed a toilet seated. Our first technician no-showed on us, so we had to wait a second day, which was fine. Customer service was very helpful. We got a new tech the next day, and he did a great job. He did say they would come back for the old toilet, but they never did, so I'm going to have to haul it to the dump. A little too much headache for the cost, but the people I spoke with were very nice and the technician was definitely competent and pleasant to work with.

The Bell Cow technicians that came to our house were very knowledgeable and conducted themselves veey professionally. I would highly recommend Bell Cow.
