Andy Anderson Moving Co

This is probably the worst move I've ever experienced, and am still trying to get things fixed without accusations from Andy Anderson. Glass broken, glass missing, refusing to plug in my wall unit, door deeply gouged door in guest bedroom, one of my mats was taken and not returned and my laminate flooring scratched. As I was taking pictures of the floor the worker said he was going to go home since I was taking pictures, said it offended him. To make matters worse his movers called me, was a smart mouth and hung up on me. Mr. Anderson called later, accused me of saying they were stealing from me, was taking care of his sick son and had to "drag" him into the office to call me, talked over me, was very rude and unprofessional. Then just like his mover hung up on me. I had much the same experience with him today, called to find out where something had been put and once again he went off on me, talked over me then hung up on me. I was extremely polite with him, but that didn't seem to matter. Said it was costing him over $200 to cut 2 pieces of glass, really? The only way I see that I will get my house fixed, property repaired and things brought back to me that were taken is through legal action. Court house here I come next week!

I was overwhelmingly pleased with how the move went. Mr. Anderson is very knowledgeable in his trade and very helpful. It was easy to schedule a time and date for my move. I was just moving some furniture from one house to another in town. When the day came the movers where there ahead of time. They went right to work. They were all friendly. The move did not take long at all because they were on the ball. Nothing was damage because they wrap everything and they were careful too. The next day I received a call from Mr. Anderson making sure I was happy with my service. It seems that it’s very important to him that his customer are happy with the job. Which he should be and I was very happy with Andy Anderson Moving Co. If you need some movers these are the guys to call. You will be happy.

Anything we asked of the movers they did it without hesitation. They were professional, thorough, and completed the move quickly. We really appreciated all their help and Mr. Anderson calling to make sure everything went well.

We plan on moving as soon as our house is completed and I will definitely use Andy and crew again. My money was well spent. My family and I just had a great experience across the board.

We contacted Andy Anderson Moving for an estimate. He arrived when he said he would and looked over the property. He quoted us a price, what time he would be there and the number of movers he would have there, along with his trucks. One thing we really enjoyed was he gave us several ways to both save money on the move and things to help his crew out. His little tips we feel helped get the move done in a very efficient manner and of course saved us a few dollars. We leaned on his company to move our business as we could not afford any down time. True to his word they accomplished that and things seemed rather seamless. Additionally the property he moved us into was just completely remodeled building from 1938 and after moving 5 individual offices worth of furniture not a single door jam or wall was dented or marked up....we appreciated that. We were more than happy to tip his crew.

Thanks to this experience our move was a lot less stressful than any other move in our past. The men moving us were extremely patient and efficient. They worked with us to ensure all our expectations were met. We will never move again without the assistance o this crew.

They broke my washing machine seal during the move. **Update** He paid to have the washing machine fixed. I would like to recommend him for others to use.

Andy's Movers provided one our top move experiences to date. First, this is an owner operated company, so when you call to schedule and get an estimate you are talking to an owner who truly cares about the reputation of his business. The estimate was the actual cost of services performed, and his rates were reasonable based upon multiple quotes I received from other vendors. I am one of those detail-oriented planners, and I called multiple times to verify the appointment. Andy always picked up in 2 rings or less, and was very helpful & patient. Secondly the team was great. They arrived on time, were totally professional, worked efficiently, yet took care to get everything to our new home without damage. They worked hours, and only took a VERY short lunch break in shifts, so that things were always moving. T & his team were great. I would hire them all again!

Unfortunately we cannot warn you against this company enough. 1. Movers hooked up our washer and dryer and did not tell us. We also had not gotten the water turned on so when they checked the connection it appeared fine. It was not. Our laundry room was flooded and damage ensued. It was not within the movers parameters to hook up our washer and dryer let alone not tell us. We have moved a few times with movers and have always been told they were "not allowed" to hook or unhook washers and dryers and this is why. When faced with this fact Andy did not offer a refund, help or even an apology. 2. They filled their truck to capacity and did not move all of our things. Unfortunately even through filing with the Better Business Bureau these issues were not resolved and we were never issued a refund. We were so excited to buy our first house and these movers caused damage right as we moved in. Cannot stress enough to watch the movers and be careful with who you hire. I will be going back to Two Men and Truck if ever we do an in town move again. I am thankful you took the time to read this review and I hope its helpful with your moving decision here. So disappointed in this company.

They showed up promptly at 7AM as promised and went over the paper work then the 4 man team went straight to work and when I say work these guys went at solid for an hour moving the vast majority of stuff to the truck from the third floor on a day that was in the mid 80's at 7AM. They did take a 10 min break to drink some water ( I had no problem with this as i said they were moving very fast) it took 1.75 hours to load the truck and then only to a little over an hour to unload the truck and put everything back together. These guys were very courteous and professional making sure my wife and I were happy every step of hte way. I can recommend this company enough.

The service was excellent in terms of the movers being right on time and doing a great job to move the furniture. Unfortunately, the owner needs to re-evaluate his prices. I ended up paying $270 for an hour worth of work. The guys had to move a large TV stand, a bed frame, mattress and a box spring and several totes/boxes. They did a good job, however, these prices need to be re-evaluated. I don't know if the owner is desperate for clients or what, but it is outrageous that he prays on people who are desperate to move in a quick time. I came down on military orders and had to move in less than a week, so I really did not have a choice, but just because the work is less and takes less time, that does not mean that he should charge this outrageous price. Three of the movers were young guys, so I wonder how much of that $270 actually went to them and how much to the owner. They were professional, but they did not even have to use their truck. Also, they charged me $30 for some plastic wrap. Really? Over all, the movers who did the work were excellent, but, unfortunately, I would probably not hire them again, due to the owner being so greedy.

Andy Anderson's men arrived at our house a few minutes before their start time, which is always a plus. A four-man crew consisting of Deon, Carl, Dion and another member, who I apologize, didn't get his name, immediately went to work evaluating what needed to be moved into our U-Haul, which we provided. These guys were fantastic! They had some huge, expensive pieces of furniture to move, and within 30 minutes of being there, they had everything wrapped up and protected, and was ready to start putting things into the truck. From there, it wasn't long before they had completely moved everything into the truck and had it secured and ready to go. I was slightly worried my truck wasn't big enough, although I knew if someone packed it right, it would be okay. And that's exactly what they did, I had plenty of room to spare. Not only were these guys very competent in moving us, but they had a great sense of humor, and were easy to work with. They made our move look easy. Also, the real test of packing is actually moving it when it's done. I drove this 20-foot truck to its destination, about 150 miles away, with no issues at all. The load stayed tight, no problems with shifting or items becoming unsecured, etc. Upon unloading the truck, there was no damage at all to any piece. We were really impressed with how well everything went. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone that needed their services.

They were on time, hard working, very pleasant, reviewed the contract details with us upon arrival; everything was consistent with what we were told on the phone. They wrapped all items in protective wrap before loading on the truck .. Very good experience, could not have gone any smoother

The movers were great. They arrived early and managed to finish under the time they estimated. They were very polite and professional. They managed to move my treadmill without having to take it apart - something that I did not think they could do. I did not have them pack anything so I cannot comment on that. I would recommend them for any local moves.

I was not pleased with the move but the floor repair man was very good.

He is phenomenal. Anybody that lives in the Fayetteville area, you're a fool if you don't use them. The rates are very reasonable. They do a four-man team. They work quickly, they work efficiently and they do it right.

We are overwhelmingly pleased with how the move went. We feel Mr Anderson is very knowledgeable in his trade. He has been personable with us over the phone and answered all of our questions. Moving can be stressful, we all know that. I felt as though Mr Anderson tried very hard to reassure us that everything would be done on time, delivered on time, and put into place where we wanted it. All of the above happened. His crew arrived when they said they would which was important given our time line. I am a realist knowing no move covering a 4000 square foot house can go perfect, but feel ours went as close to perfect as it could. His crew works hard, and seemingly never stops moving. For us he had 2 supervisor type guys there and several different vehicles to accomplish the task. The supervisors worked well together and made everything happen. We couldn't be happier with the way things went. Doing our research Andy Anderson Moving Company kept coming up with top notch ratings and I believe is voted best in Fayetteville for a number of years. I do strongly recommend giving them a call when your moving needs approach. Mr Anderson will talk you through everything, give you a fair price, and as I stated will accomplish everything agree'd upon. Great Job!!

The movers were great! They were very professional, courteous, and punctual. You get what you pay for with movers. They were a very good value.

These guys showed up on time and came in ready to work. Team of 4 guys came in and wrapped everything that needed to be so things weren't to be damaged. Asked us for where things went in the new place and they did the rest. Broke down beds, crib, and dressers. Took 3 hours to complete the move. All the guys were quiet and professional as they worked.

When I first called, I spoke with Andy Anderson. He was very helpful and informative about the entire moving process. I wasn't left with many questions and I felt that I had a good idea of what to expect with moving day. The 4-man crew arrived with the 26' truck promptly at 7am. The group was very polite and courteous. I had two young children underfoot and they were very gracious and patient when one of the kids would occasionally get in their way to see the and quot;action.and quot; I was very impressed with the crew leader, Dice (Terrence), who took command of the situation and made sure everything went smoothly. Somehow there was a miscommunication, however, and the crew was not aware that there were still items in the back yard to be moved. It wasn't until half way through the loading that it was brought to everyone's attention. So then it was a question of whether everything would fit, because the truck would've been loaded differently had they know there were additional items. I believe if the crew had been lead by someone other than Dice, we would've had to pay for another truck to come out. But as it went, he was able to get everything packed up. It was as tight squeeze, but they did it! They saved us a lot of extra money by not needing the additional truck. So the entire loading took just 2 hours and 15 minutes. The crew really is a machine. They all work together so efficiently. Then it was the 50 min drive to the new location. They were able to unpack in record speed. But then came the treadmill... All 4 men wrestled with the treadmill for a good 20 minutes to try and get it into the house and down the hallway into the master. The conclusion was that it would not fit. It was taken apart and put into the guest room. However, in the struggle, the walls were scuffed and there were some gouges. Had it not been for the treadmill, the truck would've been unloaded in just 90 minutes. I had color-coded all the boxes with duct tape (ex. a pink strip meant and quot;kitchenand quot; and a red meant and quot;living roomand quot;) so there was no wasted time asking and quot;where does this go?and quot; And when you pay $175/hr, you don't want any wasted time! Last thoughts: 1. Andy had told me they use mattress bags to protect your mattresses. These were not used. The mattresses were slid bare into the truck, resulting in dirty sides and edges on all our mattresses. I was later told after the fact that the mattress bags cost $5 a piece. I'm not sure why they didn't just wrap some shrink wrap around them? So readers should put old fitted sheets on their mattresses or request the bags up front. Just a heads up. 2. When writing out the check for the move, I was encouraged to write a separate check for the tip. I had planned to tip, but I was a little taken aback by the obvious plea for gratuity. I then wrote the check in the crew member's name and I hope he shared it. (He probably did, but who knows?) I did not have cash on hand, but I urge readers to do it that way if they plan to tip, so they can ensure all crew members receive the money. ** All in all, they were done before noon and I had the whole rest of the day to unpack...or collapse... I would use Andy Anderson moving again. You can't beat a move that takes less than 5 hours and saves you the stress of cajoling all your friends to help you move on a saturday in 90 degree heat. It was money well spent.**

The move was jsut as discussed over the phone, the movers were right on time and quickly went to work. The four men were very professional and hard working. I was very pleased with the entire process and the team from Andy Anderson moving.

The crew arrived on time and took time to talk with us about our goods and our needs. They worked quickly and efficiently taking care of all of our items. The team leader introduced himself to us and asked for our named. From then on we were always spoken to but name - much nicer than and quot;hey.and quot; We were kept informed as to their progress and letting us know what the next step would be.

Quite well! I'm still wincing at the price: $110 travel plus $110 for an hour of work... Even though we only needed them for 20 minutes, but! We had a scheduled appointment with another set of movers that day. That appointment was for 8am. They called to reschedule to 11am. When I called them at 11:45, I was told it would be 1pm. Ack! We had a conflict, and couldn't wait. So I called Andy Anderson, literally at the last second, and they came out within a few minutes, and did the job quickly and well. I wish I had called them first.

We were in the process of completing a military PPM (DITY move) for the first time. One call to Andy (the owner) proved extremely helpful! He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. His advice easily saved us over 800$. Excellent customer service from the very beginning. The movers were punctual, cautious, and ridiculously efficient. We hired his team of 4 gentlemen for 6 hours and they actually completed the load in only 4 hours - not an easy task at all considering we had quite a few large, bulky furniture items, and didn't have a lot of space to work with. Despite the challenges with a cross-country move, the load was secure, and arrived intact. 100% recommend to anyone completing any kind of move. Thank you!

I was moving to another state and had already decided to use ABF to transport everything but hired Andy Anderson Moving Co. to actually pack up my home and belongings. They were really careful, courteous, respectful of my belongings, careful, and I had no problems at all. I would definitely use them again.
