Al Laniers Pressure Washing

Al was able to schedule us fairly quickly for an excellent price; however, the job wasn't completed in such a timely manner. Al said he loved starting first thing in the morning and agreed to be here beteween 8:30 and 9 am Monday. At 9:15 I called to see if he had problems getting to our address only to find out he had completely forgotten about scheduling services with me the week prior. Fair enough...I forget things too. He agreed to be at my house by 11am. He arrived at 11:30 and explained he was on his own but he was fast and the job would get done quickly. I had chosen the second highest quality paint (from Home Depot) in a dark color to paint over the builder beige in our master bedroom. Al claimed the paint was too thick and it was causing the edging to take too long and claimed I should have purchased the paint with the primer. By 5pm he had only completed the edging in the bedroom and hadn't started in the bathroom. I understand the paint was dark and could possibly be the reason for difficult edging but I didn't think it required FOUR coats nor do I think it should have taken SIX hours to complete. We agreed that he could come back early the next day to finish the job. Al was at our house by 9:15 and began working....he spent time sanding the walls (probably where there were a couple drips) and touching up the edging and didn't start rolling until after 11am. The entire time Al was extremely curtious and apologized for taking so long (which is why I gave an overall C). He did also accidentally drop a brush on the one spot that wasn't covered by his tarp...he immediately confessed and cleaned up his mess (there is still a small tinge of color in the carpet though). There were a few small spots where paint was tracked on the carpet. Again, those were spotted and cleaned up immediately. I am extremely pleased with the overall look of the rooms and with the work Al completed. Despite all the irritations I've listed, Al is a very nice man trying to earn a living. I don't think I'll use his painting services again however...

They pressure washing they did to our house took years off the look of the house. It looks brand new!
