We paid him four hundred fifty dollars and he said that was the cost for everything. The problem was we did not really agree on a certain time frame. Basically he told me he would have it repaired in three weeks. It took almost two months for him to have it repaired. I later found out what was really holding him up. He was trying to get a part wholesale. He said it was the circuit board. That basically controlled all the colors. I was trying to pay him retail price to have him fix it and he is trying to buy wholesale. He did not tell me that. He told me that later for the reason of the delay. He was not personable. He tried to say there were other things wrong after that. I said that was the price he agreed on. It was fixed. He went out of the house, got in the car and said that was it. No ifs and buts. There was a problem with the contrast in my TV. It was too bright. He said it was a simple thing to repair. I do not think he realized he did not have to repair the whole board. I gave him all the money upfront by check. It was a good thing I paid him by check. That was the only thing I got for him to fix it. I told him we were going to court. He had ten days to do something with it or else I will file a legal action against him. In about four days, he was out here to fix it. I definitely would not recommend him.
