Paul King installed a privacy fence with a gate in May 2015. Mr. King assured me that, should I have any problems, contact him as the contract reads that the installation is guaranteed for one year against defects resulting from improper workmanship. Approximately a week later the gate shifted and I could no longer secure the gate with the latch. I have tried to contact Mr. King by telephone and email...no response. In fact, he disconnected his cell phone so I could no longer call him. He has a website and I have repeatedly wrote to him requesting he repair the gate. AGAIN, NO RESPONSE. Buyers beware!!

After a web search for local fence companies here in Fayetteville, NC I came across Mr. Paul King?s website ?Affordable Fencing? (www.affordablefencing.co). I contacted Paul by phone (July 2014) to schedule an appointment for a 103 feet of straight line 6 foot high (wooden) Privacy Fence across my back yard separating my property from a middle school property. Based on Mr. Kings availability and the fact that also on his website there is a Gold Seal that states ?Satisfaction 100% Guaranteed?. Mr. King arrived on time as scheduled to provide me with a cost estimate of the work to be performed and was eager to do the job. Shown in the contract's proposal, in big "BOLD" print is the following statement: ?INSTALLATION GUARANTEED 1 YEAR AGAINST DEFECTS RESULTING FROM IMPROPER WORKMANSHIP?. I accepted Mr. King?s proposal not only based on the completed price quoted but also because of the two guarantees stated above. Mr. King returned as scheduled to start the installation by setting the center posts on the first day and returned the following day to finish the job. Everything went well and appeared to be Okay. Now fast forward to March 2015. The far left side of the fence is now leaning over into the adjacent (middle schools) property. After further inspection it was found that none of the 13 center posts installed into the ground never had any concrete poured around the base of the posts. Mr. King installed six 2X4's on the front (school) side of the fence to hold it up. I called Mr. King and left a message in which he returned thinking that my message was for a NEW first time estimate. When I informed him of the leaning fence he set an appointment for the very next day. I took time off from work and Mr. King never bothered to even show up for the appointment nor did he ever call. I am now going to have to hire another fence company to come in behind Mr. King to fix what he should have done correctly the first time. How much money was saved by not using the extra concrete? What poor workmanship and judgment on his part. Mr. King's ?quality of workmanship? and ?100% satisfaction? guarantees are completely worthless. His business ethic is like so many others here in the area. Also, should you ever call the business number (910-634-5508 to leave a message, Paul states at the end ?Have a Blessed Day? BUYER BEWARE !!
