AAIMS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Do NOT use this company to oversee any property if you want it to be properly maintained. I could go into exhausting detail, but will offer the cliff notes version of examples..: 1. Poor communication throughout the contract, resulting in high turnover of tenants..When AAIMS was notified of an issue for repair fromtenant, there was time lag between contacting us and actually getting repairs done. 2. Even though they claim they perform their "inspections", the property was left damaged beyond your normal wear and tear..was told that walls, etc maybe had some paint wear to find huge hules where someone had done a half-baked attempt to cover it up...never reported to us. 3. Promises of pictures of property, and none were given...time and time again! 4. We arrived at the property when the last tenants left to find garbage left all summer resulting in maggots in the garage, resulting in a terrible odor throughout the property AND a dirty furnace filter resulting in a furnace reapir. This was AFTER our so called "property manager" was there to give it a final inspection...UNSAT!!! We were left with an expensive mess to try to get the property up to par for the next tenants. Trust me, you are better off managing on your own!! SHAME ON YOU, AAIMS PROPERTY MGMT!!!!

We hired Aaims to rent out our home. During initial meeting and when signing agreement we were given misleading information and their key-check-out method was not disclosed at all. Only when we inquired how our home would be shown after we'd move out were we told that they would give a key to anybody who wants to look at our home....no agent would accompany these people and Aaims would NOT be liable for any damages/thefts that could possibly occur while people would be in our home unsupervised!!! We were not comfortable with this "practice" at all and did not want complete strangers in our house without an agent present (what do we pay them for!!!???) Our lawyer contacted them, requesting to have the agreement dissolved at no charge since we were not properly informed about the key-check-out method. The president of the company said he would still charge us $200 for work performed (what work???!!) and if we were not satisfied with that, we could take him to small claims court. After all the other issues with them, his arrogant attitude did not come us a surprise. We paid the $200 to get away from them...well worth our piece of mind when it comes to our property. We hired another PM the next day and she had our house rented out within a few days! We also have friends who rent through them. The house they're in was hit by lightening and when they contacted Aaims to inform them they were told that there was no need for Aaims to come out and check on the property or inform the owners.....VERY unsettling and NOT how we would like to have our house managed....for a fee no less!!!
