+ -1 moreOverall I am satisfied with his service because my house has been rekeyed. The part I'm unhappy with is his punctuality. He was 46mins late for our 3pm appointment. I had to call him to find out where he was. Had he initiated the call saying he was running late I would have no issue. Nick will definitely get the job done, just understand that you may have to query him about your appointment time.
Description of Work: We recently moved back into our Raeford house and wanted to rekey all the locks after being rented out all these years.

Description of Work: I sent A Locksmith's a message through Angie's List on 7/8/14, however they never responded to my inquiry. I checked on-line and did see it was sent through. Tried to call, but the phone call wouldn't be delivered to the number listed. We forgot the new knob set for the front door at our old house and he kindly waited while we ran to the old house to grab it. Very kind and knowledgeable.

When he let me in my house, I had to show him a picture ID with my name and address on it so that he knew he let me into my house and not someone else’s; which I appreciated. He even had a solution to the problem. He suggested that I buy a lockbox like the type that realtors use; it has a code. I hang that now on a backdoor of the house with the key in it so that I do not get locked outside again. His quality of work was great.
Description of Work: I used A Locksmiths for getting my door lock unlocked. I was locked outside and he let me in my house.

When the door was unlocked he waited for me to get an ID to prove it was my house, then took my check as payment. He made suggestions about lock replacements to prevent future lock outs, and different ways to secure a key outside. Very professional.
