Not Well !!! Never came back to finish after they got paid. Use old equipment that really makes a mess. Contacted Mr Brady for over a year giving him a chance to make it right and be a man of his word. Was told over and over he would send someone to finish - never happened.

There was a profound lack of communication & professionalism. Though one person appeared to be in charge of the workers, he was rarely on site or available. Phone calls I made to the office were not returned for days at a time. I would be told to expect workers on certain days only to have no one show up and no notification that they weren't coming. Then there were days I received phone calls saying they were at the house and couldn't get in. This was because they had told me no one would be there on this particular day. This behavior continued for the entirety of the job and was extremely frustrating. I had to leave the state prior to the completion of the job and went to great lengths to ensure they had access & finishing instructions in place. However they couldn't follow simple instructions as to which door I'd left unlocked for them to enter. The owner of the company finally went over to the house to see if he could locate the secret, hidden, back door! Then there was the work itself. The biggest problem with their work was what they didn't do. They didn't seal off any of the rooms which were not being sanded. They made no effort to contain the mess at all, which was an incredible amount of dust, nails, & broken pieces of molding. They even turned on the central air without consulting with me, which resulted in spreading the dust even more so. It's hard to understand the level of dust I'm talking about here if you didn't see it. But it was on every single surface of the entire house including: walls, ceilings, in the duct vents, inside drawers of furniture, and on every window, door, ceiling fan, and stair step. It took almost a week of cleaning which involved vacuuming every surface in the house & then wiping up with a damp cloth several times over. I even had to remove the back panel of the refigerator (which had been moved to a different room to protect it) & vacuum out the condensor fan. If I hadn't been so weary of dealing with them at this point I would have hired a professional cleaning company & deducted the cost from the bill. As a result of not containing the sawdust, there are small piles of it in corners now sealed to the floor by the new finish. They also damaged a door molding & scratched up two areas of floor which were not being refinished. Not only did I have to ask that they repair it, but then they didn't even do so. They simply buffed one of the scratches instead of sanding it down. It's still visible. The other scratch was ignored as was the gouged door molding. In one room where they were to replace the floor molding they didn't completely remove the old molding. They left about a quarter length of it attached to the wall, jagged edged from where they broke it off. They then stapled the new molding up against it & left that as their idea of a finished product. On top of that they installed molding in a room that hadn't had molding removed from it in the refinishing process, and which I had closed & blocked entry to. At job's end, when the owner called to arrange payment, he didn't ask if I was satisfied with the work or if I had any feedback. I asked him to come inside & told him my complaints regarding the lack of communication & unprofessional nature of the work. His reply was that they would, "try to do better next time". As far as the refinished floors go, they look good. But the negatives of my experience with this company far outweigh the positives. If you decide to use them for your refinishing job, I'd suggest a written contract detailing your expectations up front.

Rocky start -- I called to set up an appointment a few weeks in advance. The appointment day came and went with no confirmation call, and a no one showed up. After waiting for an hour I decided to leave. . The next day Mr. Brady called and offered to come that day to provide an estimate. During this time I continued to ask friends and colleagues who had their wood floors refinished for referrals. I called two additional companies to get estimates for the job. Brady's was the cheapest, but surprisingly estimated 60 square feet more for the job than the other companies. During this time I researched the materials and methods for floor refinishing. Ultimately I decided to go with Brady's Sanding and Flooring because I want a traditional finish. Even though this method has a longer cure time and produces more fumes, I hope it is a very durable finish. The crew was friendly and the floors look nice. I was charged an additional $50 for the wood that covers the threshold between the kitchen (tile) and the room with the wood floor. Unfortunately one of the thresholds will have to be removed because the crew pieced together 2 ends of the moulding and the thresholds doesn't match. In my opinion, no enough attention to detail was given to the installation of the shoe moulding (over $300.00 cost) as it doesn't cover the trim completely, and doesn't match the rest of the house. I called Mr. Brady to discuss my concerns, but never heard back about why the job was done this way, or if he was willing to correct the mismatched threshold. I called a second time, hoping he would get back to me before I wrote this review of the work, but he just cashed my check and never returned my call. 5 month update. The finish on the wood floors is far more susceptabale to scratches and indentations under normal use than I imagined it would be. My husband and I continue to find unfinished patches on the surface of our floors leaving us to wonder if we fewer coats of finishing product was applied than promised.
