I had been calling them in regard to my upstairs bathroom toilet for a couple of years (usually stopped up). When I developed a spot on my living room ceiling, I called them to see what was leaking in the bathroom and into my living room ceiling. There was a small amount of water on the bathroom floor. They said the bolts were loose on the tank and tightened them. The leak on the ceiling at that poitn was fixable with just some sealant and paint. The, approximately six months later, it was doing the same exact thing, in the same exact spot, but this time I was out of town and came back to a leak that had split the ceiling seam open and water that had settled onto my brand new wool and silk Oriental rug ($5000.00). I called a different plumber and they said they should have replaced the gaskets (a simple fix). With anything Howard's did, they simply put a band-aid on it and never fixed the problems. They charged me at least $100.00 for each time they came out (5 times all together). When I called Howard's, they gave me the run around and finally Pat Howard never returned my calls. I called at least 6 times, was put on hold for an inordinate amount of time, and would finally hang up after about 20 minutes. I finally replaced both toilets ($800.00) and had my ceiling fixed ($350.00) and painted ($150.00) for something that should have been as cheap as 50 cent gaskets and maybe a $100.00 repair bill.

Re: Small claims court docket # 13cv1621. Although I was unable to prove negligence by Howard’s Plumbing I offer the follow: 1) get a second opinion 2) photograph all work and maintain chain of evidence 3) record names and addresses of all representatives of Howard’s Plumbing involved in your job and 4) observe work and take copious notes.

Plumbing work is never and quot;cheapand quot;, so I appreciated how the two man crew hustled and gone the job done as promptly and efficiently as possible. I'd recommend these guys to my friends as they were competent, wasted no time and got it right the first time.

I called Howard's Plumbing after hearing good things at a local supply store, and their office is close to my home. I had a few issues and needed several things: 2 toilets having problems, 1 outdoor faucet not working, and a water softener not working. I actually had 4 different persons from Howard's Plumbing, based on their areas of expertise, which I thought was a plus. They all came on time and were courteous and professional and did not take any longer than what was reasonable. I got a new toilet, which they bought at discount from a supplier, i had another toilet and outside faucet repaired. The biggest problem I had was my water softener (that was installed 5 years ago by another service) was leaking. They came in to assess what I had and I learned from them that the backwash line was installed (by another service) into a pipe that co-mingled with my clean water, so they changed that out for me and rerouted it directly out. They also installed a new water softener that was damaged completely, but they changed the configuration to make sense for my space, which I thought was a nice touch that they didn't have to do. I haven't received the bill yet for that one, but I am very pleased with the work and the function of it. I will definitely use Howard's Plumbing for all future plumbing needs!!

Melvin is a good plumber and he was punctual, professional and did a great job. He had to go find the right parts for the bathtub job and I was very impressed with how that went so I did not hesitate to call him to the plumbing in my new kitchen.

I found them to be very good. It was $95 for the service charge and $15 for the leaky faucet which was very reasonable. I liked the fact that they put booties on their feet when they came inside my house. I guess that it was typical these days but I thought that it was a plus point. They came when they said that they would. I called in the afternoon and they said that they would make it the next morning which was fine with me. I had three bathrooms and I did not really need the other one. They called a little bit later and said that they would be right over. They came within fifteen minutes. The price that they charged me was very common and I was not unhappy with it. I have used them three to four times and the quality of their work has always been excellent. They were right on time when they said that they would. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I called them today and they said they could get out here today. They are very efficient and handle things in a timely manner. They are great! They are punctual and friendly to deal with. I don't have anything negative to say.

TP Howard deserves 5 gold stars! A pipe from my well head froze the night before my house closing. They came early in the morning, and worked in freezing temps to fix it before the walk-through by the new owners so my house could go to closing. TP Howard came and did this emergency repair when asled, and they worked for several hours in challenging temperatures to get it right. Late the night before, when the frozen pipe was discovered, they advised my realtor (I was already on the road to my new home) what to do for safety and to minimize the repair cost. I felt the charge was reasonable, and I would recommend them highly for any plumbing job!

We used them the first time back in Dec '09 to install a new kitchen faucet. The construction crew had just finished our kitchen remodel and the scheduled plumber called us same day to cancel the appointment to hook up our new faucet. It was around 4pm when I called Pat Howard. He said he couldn't promise anything but would try to find someone who could come out and install the faucet that evening. A few minutes later he called to let us know he was sending someone out. His price was fair, the work was satisfactory and we liked the technician. We became a loyal customer after that! We did not think to call anyone else when we needed a new hot water heater. In Nov we had a back up in the pipes and his crew arrived early next morning after we called to run a scope and try to find the problem. Pat's employees are courteous and really take the time to explain their work. This is a family run business and they take pride in their work and customer relationships. They get us scheduled right away and they accept VISA.
