McAbee & Associates, P.A.

I quickly needed the 4 corners of a piece of property marked. All other surveyors were outrageously priced (in the thousands) and at least 10 days out. McAbee performed the service for me with in three days and at a fair and reasonable price of $275.00. A far cry from the others who looked to take advantage of my situation. I would absolutely trust and use them again.

I called on 3 October for services to be performed and was told they would be performed and quot;at the end of next weekand quot;. I called again 5 days later to be sure that they understood what exactly I needed, and sent them an email with supplemental information they requested. They said they understood, were courteous on the phone, but I have not heard back from them since (over a month ago). Bottom line is I can't comment on the quality of their work, just that they didn't follow through on what they said they would do. I understand that people are busy and can't always meet their obligations on time, however I think it is reasonable to expect that if someone can't do the work or do the work on time that they communicate. I have since received service from another provider who has been prompt in communication and performed excellent service.

Job got off to a rough start when I noticed original survey markers. It was not done as I requested. (I wanted the two sides of the property to be marked down the sides so I could make sure a fence I want to install was on my property.) Called company and was advised survey was not completed. It would be completed on a second trip to my property. There was an additional charge for marking other than the 4 corners that I had agreed to, but was told a copy of the survey would be extra. I was called by the president of the company and advised they would include a copy of the survey and honor the original quoted price which included the additional property markings as previously discussed. Final results were acceptable.
