Description of Work: Installed kitchen counter-tops. Overall it went well, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to communicating with the customer. The craftsmen did a great job but the front office didn't get high marks. I hope this is only taken as constructive criticism.

+ 0 moreGreat selection of granite. gave us prices for various quality. Measurer came at appointment time and obviously did a great job because the tops were perfectly installed. There were two one day postponements of installation.

+ 0 moreWe went with quartz countertops from the Cosmos line. There are so many choices! Artisan Granite stocks many gorgeous granite slabs in the yard. Several really pretty pieces I had not seen before in other stoneyards. It was a big decision to choose between granite/quartz. Note that Artisan's prices are very competitive with the area vendors, so the price for the different products wasn't that much of an issue. I always try to buy local, if at all possible, rather than from big box stores that start with the letter "L". After much research and agonizing, I decided to go with ordering a quartz countertop. Linda at Artisan Granite is very sweet & knowledgable. She guided me through the process of choosing a sink, ordering, measuring, installation etc. Their guy came out the next day and measured for the pattern. The very next week - it was all done!

+ 0 moreMy wife and I (both physicians in our early 30's) went shopping for new counters on a Wednesday afternoon. We were dressed respectfully but casually and even mentioned that we had been referred to her by another physician. She insisting on giving us quotes for the lower-end granite (even though we consistently showed interest in the higher end). We were never offered any samples to take home and were forbidden from taking pictures. She promised us 24-48 hours before we could get even a rough estimate. 3 days later we called her and were told that the computers were down. 2 days later we received our quotes. The quotes were competitive with other granite providers but the lack of openness, rash assumptions regarding our ability to afford what we were interested in, suspicion and poor follow through mean we will be using another dealer.

+ -1 moreThere is not enough great things I can say about the staff, products, workmanship and level of care provided by Artisan Granite and Marble. My husband and I first contacted the business by phone and then visited with the owner, Linda. The showroom is wonderful. We had already decided on a certain product beforehand, but once there we were shown the beauty of the granite on hand and quickly changed our minds. We presented our house plans and photos of our current kitchen to Linda, with her expertise in interior decorating she showed us the best selection of granite to match our existing colors and dand eacute;cor. Their prices are very reasonable. Now we have granite countertops that significantly changed the appearance of our kitchen. The countertops were installed by the most professional artisans that we have ever done business with. We continue to be amazed at the beauty of our new countertops and know that we made the right decision to do business with Artisan Granite and Marble. We highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: We had to remove our custom kitchen cabinets to repair water damaged flooring.After repairing the floor, we went to see Linda, Mike & Ashley at Artisan Granite & Marble / Tile & Design.We were shopping for a new granite countertop, tile backsplash & porcelan flooring for our kitchen & laundry room.They were so patient & professional with us as we took several samples home to see if we would like the colors in our kitchen. We chose the Costa Esmeralda granite countertop & a new sink & faucet & the Millenia-Opulance for a subway tile backsplash & 18 x 18 tile flooring. We mentioned we wanted green diamonds for accent on the floor & we were so pleased when Ashley said Mike could cut 4" medallions out of the left over granite countertop & Kiley Hanford (the installer) could piece them into the flooring. After we made our choices, they came & measured & gave us an estimate. They ordered our material & set up an installation date. The installers were punctual & courteous & did an outstanding job. Everything went so smooth. From start to finish the entire kitchen project took less than a month.The price included the granite countertop, sink, faucet, drain, flange, tile backsplash, 14 switch plates, tile flooring, medallions, & all material & labor for installation.We now have our custom dream kitchen! We would definately do business with them again. They are a family owned business that treat their customers like part of that family!

+ 0 moreI was getting ready to do a kitchen remodel and went down to Artisan for a quote. I entered their office and was promptly greeted by Linda who then took me on their lot to look at the slabs they had in stock. They had a great selection and I found a slab that I liked. Since my wife was not with me, I asked her to put a hold on it until I could get word back from her on the color/movement of the slab. A few days later I called her back and gave her my credit card for the deposit. Since we had to wait on cabinets, it was a couple of months before we were able to get the granite installed. Once the cabinets were in place, they came out immediately and did a template. To my surprise, they were able to fabricate and install the countertops 3 days later. Since this was a rental property, I was not able to be on site for the install. Instead, I had left a key for Linda and her crew and trusted that they would complete the installation. The following Friday I came back to the island and was very pleased with the install. The countertops looked great and besides the new countertops, you couldn't even tell that they had been there. Everything was very clean and wiped down. All in all, I was very happy with their work and would not hesitate to use them again.

+ 0 moreTerrible! The first appointment was not kept and we only got excuses and promises….wasted half of a day. Finally went to the store and picked out some tile and asked for a quote….we never got a response. Either we were too far away (30 miles) or our job was not big enough for them. I was very excited after first going there and we setup the first meeting which was a terrible experience. We continued to but we could not even get a quote. Maybe a good place to purchase tile, granite and things of that nature but if you want them to do something….forget it unless you are going to spend the big bucks!!
Description of Work: No works was done since they could not return calls or even give us a quote.
