Description of Work: we were not on site when the well was drilled so had to rely on second hand info. the flow is less than half of what it was supposed to be and the water carries alot of stone dust. i was given several suggestions as to what i could do, which i thought was their job. it would not bother me as much except that we dug another well on this property about 35 years ago that has been perfect ever since. i thought they had a cavalier attitude about our problems. it is possible that the third party was relaying false info. about the capability of the well. i have no way of knowing. i have installed 13 rain barrels since and we limp along that way.

+ -1 moreMy well was not putting out the usual pressure and I was running out of water. Pittman Well Company recommended a company in Hickory that came out the next morning. They checked the static water level in my well and found that there was plenty of water and then checked my pump with an ampmeter and determined that my pump was going bad based on the amp draw. That was good news and bad news. The good was I don't need to have another well drilled. The bad is I need a new pump which is going to cost $1600 for the pump and $1000 to install it. Not sure if this is a good price although my well is unusually deep at 700 feet.
Description of Work: This company does not service my area but they put me in contact with a company in my area that they trusted. I would give that company a high rating in most of the categories especially responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism.

+ -1 moreMr. Delbert Pittman arrived right on time to meet with me and to evaluate possible drilling locations on my property. He also took the time to understand my needs and to explain the well drilling process. The price he quoted was most competitive. When I move forward to have a well drilled, I will definitely call Mr. Pittman.
