+ -1 moreWe had a signed contract/quote to replace our residential roof on a straight gable roof with only two dormers at Rivershore Road, Elizabeth City. Before the job was finished, this contractor Bright says they "miscalculated" the size of the roof by 25% and needed more money to cover materials! So he's trying to tell me that he, an experienced roofer with two decades in the roofing business and who has done far more complex roofs somehow "miscalculated" the roof size and needed more money for "materials"? Yeah right! I wonder if he applied these materials to another job. I don't care what their rating is, I do not trust them.

Description of Work: Bright Construction replaced the roof on our house in the heat of the summer. They worked quickly and professionally, cleaning up afterwards. I would recommend this company to other list members.

+ -1 moreHe promised me that he would be here the majority of the time to manage his crew, I ended up being the one who managed the crew most of the time. I feel he did not live up to what he said he was going to do. The work itself was okay, I just believe that if I was not here over seeing the work, they would have taken some short cuts. I did catch them a couple of times taking short cuts.
Description of Work: He added a roof and dormer to an already established room.

Description of Work: They stripped the roof, put new tarp down, and replaced the roof.
