Knapp Masonry

Mr. Knapp was professional and pleasant to work with.  He wasn't able to cut the hole the height I wanted due to the layout of the brick, but it was only off by 2" anyway and the same height of my existing crawlspace door anyway.  I can work with it!  After he completed the work, we sat down for a long time to discuss a future project (front porch), so I could get a good idea of what I would need for a budget to install the foundation of the porch.  We also talked about different options for porch flooring, and stairs.  Mr. Knapp was very friendly and fully prepared for the task at hand.  I will be using him in the future for other projects over the next several years.  Very happy that I found him on Angie's List, because it was impossible to find a Mason in this region...  I asked around, and even asked people in the building inspection office and other departments at the town hall to find someone, with no luck what so ever!  Angies List was detrimental in my being able to find a person for this trade.  Thanks to Angie's List and Thanks to Mr. Knapp!

I had a problem with some failing mortar joints at the exterior of my townhouse that needed to be repointed. Knapp Masonry did an overall excellent work with the repairs: the job was done quickly and cleanly, they put a special effort to match the color of the old and new mortar and came back a couple of days later to clean the work area with the muriatic acid. Communication was great - they answered all the questions that we had, were picking up every time we called and delivered as promised. Knapp Masonry left a very good impression of people who know well what they are doing and taking pride in it. I would recommend them without any hesitation.
