EASTERN HEATING & COOLING

Great. Showed up as expected. Was prepared to investigate issue. Small issue, did not have part needed on truck (but they didn't know what the problem was until the appointment so they really can't be held accountable). Good pricing for seasonal maintenance and air filtration and UV-C light upgrades. Currently licensed by State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating and Fire Sprinkler Contractors (I always check licensing status, another provider I contacted was not properly licensed.).

It was a great experience. Johnny Peede was very prompt to respond to my calls from day one through the entire installation. He was not the cheapest but his proposal was very detailed and left no question about what was to be done. He did not try to sell me on anything but offered options and gave advice based on his experience. His crew was very professional and showed up when they said they would. When their schedule changed they let me know when they would come back. After the installation was complete Johnny scheduled an appointment with me and spent an hour with us making sure we knew how the system works. Would recommend these people anytime.

Called Johnny after the unit was not cooling correctly after the visti from a different company. He came out same day!! Discovered that the thermostat had a short in it. Replaced it immediately. Also noted that the heat pump compressor has a weak internal overload and does not restart like it should. Hopefully the new thermostat will correct the problem, but if not, may need a new compressor, which he advised against. I agree. Our unit is 7 years old. He gave us estimates on both a new compressor and a bigger heat pump unit. I asked him what I owed him for the services he provided. He did go in his truck and put in a new thermostat. He told me he would send me a bill. I will continue to use him for all my HVAC needs. He has found a new customer.

I had gone through the night without any heat as I thought I was without propane, and was to scared to go out and check to se if that was the problem. So in the morning I looked and found that was not the problem. I called Eastern Heating, and as usual, within a few minutes I received a phone call back. After the phone call within 5 minutes the truck was in my yard. After pulling apart the back of the heat pack and looking same hose that was the cause of the lack of heat last year, he found the cause of the lack of heat, yet again. Within a matter of 15 minutes the heat was on and blowing in my house and I was told that if this was to happen again he would install some type of filter or something to prevent this from happening again. It just amazes me how quickly he responds, how quickly he resolves the situation and that he does not over charge me for his services.

Excellent... I called because my A/C would not shut off and I was afraid there was a serious problem. I knew I could depend on Eastern Heating and Cooling as he really took care of me in the winter time. So I called him and he was there immediately and within moments he knew what the issue was (not mechanical) but human error... meaning me... and didn't make me feel like I was just a stupid woman but explained to me the issue and what I had done incorrectly. But he still looked at all the mechanics of the A/C unit to make sure all was running properly and there was enough freion etc... and within 20 minutes he was gone.

Awesome. I would call again in a heartbeat. He is now the only one I would call for HVAC issues.
