+ -1 moreI made the mistake of paying Alan's Service Center with the full price, with the understanding that he was going to return and finish work and he never returned my calls or came back. I was disappointed in that experience, obviously. I know better to pay somebody before the job was complete, but I made that mistake. After I paid him, he said he needed a part to fix the ice maker. He said he would have to go get that and come back the next day and he just never came back. I called him many times and left polite messages encouraging him to do the right thing. Days went by, but I was still offering an opportunity for him to come and make it right. But he never called or showed up again. I paid for both appliances to get fixed and he left the one unfinished. I had to call another company to come in and fix it.
Description of Work: They repaired my washing machine and was supposed to repair my ice maker.

+ -1 moreAlan is very professional, courteous and business like. He gets right to the root of the problem. I would definitely call him again for appliance repair. His prices are extremely reasonable as well!
Description of Work: My double oven threw sparks out of the control panel area when I turned it on to preheat it. Alan diagnosed it in a speedy manner. I had dropped a hinge screw into the control panel area when changing out my cabinet hardware. He told me to try it and let him know if it worked the following day. He also called the next day as a courtesy follow up to ask if the oven was now working satisfactorily. No problems to date.

+ -1 moreThis was the first time I used Alan's Service Center. I give him A's for everything. He was on time, and he was very professional. I have had no problem at all with the dishwasher.
Description of Work: He installed my dishwasher. He took the old one out and hauled it away and put the new one in.
