David, the owner, knows the situation we are in and said he could do it in 4 days. There were a few extra issues like finding som of the sub-floor was rotted and need to be replaced that caused some extra work and delays. We thought 4 days was unrealistic and expected 2 weeks. We are now 6 weeks into the remodel and it is still not complete. There have been multiple times when the crew worked in the morning for a few hours and said they were going to lunch and would be back in the afternoon but never came back. There have also been multiple days when they did not show up at all. We have reached out to David to let him know this needs to be completed as soon as possible because my mother has been helping my father up and down the stairs as there is no bathroom on the main floor now and luckily she has not hurt herself but it is getting to be too much for her. They came out for a few hours on Monday October 20 and said they would be back later that day which they did not come back. They did not come out on Tuesday October 21 and have not been out today Wednesday October 22. This has just turned out to be a nightmare for my parents when it should have made life easier for them. On 10/27/14, I contacted the city office to see if this company obtained a permit so that inspections for plumbing and electrical work could be done, and the answer was NO. The City of Eden code inspectors came out to my parents' home and found none of the work was done properly. A stop-work order was issued and it was learned that no plumbing license exits for the owner (David Gardner) who did the work in my parents' home. My elderly parents have now, in week 7 of this ordeal, hired a plumber (licensed!) to redo the work done by Adv. Roofing/Remodeling. Hope this helps future customers utilizing your company to secure a reliable, qualified contractor to do work at their home.
Description of Work: They are remodeling a bathroom in my parents' house as my father is handicap and adjustments needed to be made to accommodate him. My parents purchased all the fixtures and tiles so they would only be charged for labor. They paid him half as a down payment.
