+ -1 moreWow! What a beautiful, professional job my piece received! It was repaired and restored to its former glory beyond my highest expectations. The desk is absolutely a treasure! How happy I am that, instead of refinishing the piece myself, I took it to a top-notch repairman! Very highest recommendation!

+ -1 moreBetter than I could have imagined. The pine top is perfect and nicely finished. The apron and legs are the perfect shade. I always check reviews so try to be as honest with hopes others will too. I would have Gene refinish anything that needed to be spectacular. My husband was astonished when he saw the finished result.
Description of Work: Refinish an old console table. I had removed most of the paint from the top but needed a pro job r to make it awesome.

+ -1 moreOverall, the projects went great. Gene picked up the furniture and returned it in a very reasonable time. He stayed in touch during the process and promptly returned any calls he missed (though he usually answered the phone immediately). It was a pleasure working with an individual who was actually easy to get in touch with, did exactly as promised, and had good prices.
Description of Work: I had one drop-leaf table with four chairs that desperately needed both repair work and refinishing. It was high quality teak wood, but in terrible shape. Gene came to my house and took them to his shop. Later he brought them back and the pieces were beautiful. They were like new. This cost $850.00. He did such a good job that my wife asked him to take on another project. This job involved repairing and refinishing another drop-leaf table with six chairs, a buffet, and a desk. These pieces were mahogany and walnut. Gene again did an excellent job. My wife and I were astounded at the quality of the work. This cost $1470.00. In addition to doing great work, Gene is very communicative and gives regular updates on the progress of the work. He call to check and be sure that he is doing exactly what the customer wants. This work involved many hours of repair of the pieces (some were totally disassembled) in addition to the refinishing.
