9-14-15 KH gave CX pricing - They are unhappy with our diagnosis fee and service. They are going with another company. $139.00 cost of diagnosis.

Description of Work: Stackable dryer in rental unit not working. Called and spent time with helpful office person and specifically asked what parts could wear out and requested they order and bring parts to replace as long as they had machine apart. No call for several days about service schedule, I had to call them. The person who schedules service calls, Christy, first told me parts were not in. Then called back same afternoon saying parts were in. Service man only opened from front and did not replace any parts just put grease/lithium on two spots and said it was okay, "nothing more had to be done." Drum did not turn on first time it was used. Called BRA&H speaking again talked to Christy. Tried to explain how I had taken steps to have all parts identified as potentially wearing out before first service call but none were put in. Very difficult to get any satisfaction out of Christy. I suspect no parts were ever ordered from first meeting in office. Painful experience to get a second service date and had to pay $230 for 4 parts (so they never were ordered the first time). Same service man came out and again only opened from front. Put in 4 parts, turned on motor and said it was fine. First time used drum did not turn, just motor turned hummed which caused some of the new parts to burn up. This time the person using machine went to BRA&H himself and experienced same defensive attitude from Christy. He asked for Sharon who agreed it was not handled correctly. This time 2 men came out and opened from back. They said there were numerous screws missing or loose (back had never been touched on first two visits). When I again spoke to Christy she said it would be another $600+ for new parts plus more labor by the minute. What they do not realize is BRA&H replaced a heating element (which I'm told is normally done from the back) on this machine in 2009 -- last people to work on it! I gave up on BRA&H and cannot recommend them nor will I ever use them again.

Description of Work: called & they came for estimate. The guy wasn't innovative enough to figure out the cheapest place for the wood burning stove to sit (we had another estimator that did). He recommended instead to get a general contractor to build a chase for the pipe--not cost effective & did charge us even though he never gave us an actual number estimate-hmmm, I thought that this was what we paid for?

Description of Work: We had a light switch that was broken on our dryer. They really had to search multiple suppliers to find the switch, which they did. They we requested that they install the switch. Now, it is noted that their charge rate is by the "minute" upon arrival. They were prompt in the arrival time, and very professional. We also noted that they were MOST knowlegeable. We would definetly use them over A&E Service.

Description of Work: girl who answered the phone was rude and advised that there was no one available to do the job and had no idea when someone would be available....we have consistently used this service in the past, but will think twice before calling them again.
