After getting multiple quotes from various vendors (some bigger, some smaller) - I decided to choose Window Designs. Lee, the owner came out and did the quote and also did our install. I liked that the owner was doing the install personally and that they had been around this area doing business for many years. The shutters we chose were a stained wood with a dark stain and the quality of the shutters is comparable to the other vendors I looked at. Other vendors charged more for custom stained. If I had gone with another vendor, I could have only really afforded white shutters - finding Lee and Window Designs made it possible for me to get the custom dark wood shutters I really wanted for the same price other vendors were charging for white. Lee was helpful throughout the process and patient with me and my boyfriend as we chose our stain color and the color for our blinds on our back door (we are a pretty analytical pair so we often take awhile to decide!). I was even able to visit their offices to look at the quality of the wood shutters on a larger scale vs. small samples to be sure the finished product would meet our needs. They do not have an elaborate showroom, but I like that it is basically a warehouse/workshop and that they do not invest money in a fancy showroom so that they can keep the costs down and pass that on to customers. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend and use Windows Designs again. Thank you, Lee!

Excellent service with follow up from company. I would recommend Window Design, Inc. After my meeting with Lee and Donna, I cancelled the other window design companies, because I felt so comfortable with them. Genuinely nice, good price and follow up before installation.

Excellent. Lee came to the house to discuss and give us an estimate. He is very professional. After the shutters were delivered Lee and an associate did an outstanding job of installation and clean up after the job. We are delighted with the shutters and the professional work that the did with the installation.

Lee came out and measured my windows and we discussed different options to achieve what I was looking for. He was very helpful in helping me decide. After the window treatments arrived, his office called and we scheduled for installation--which was done very professionally and at my convenience with the schedule. I am very happy and highly recommend this company.

I believe the prices were good. Everything went very well and everything was on time and good quality. I would use them in the future.

In two previous homes I had selected similar shades based only on small samples the salesmen brought to my home. I found it much more satisfactory to visit their showroom and see the installed products. Window Designs epitomizes the "mom and pop' business in a very good way. There was a great selection in their showroom, and the owners were very helpful. Lee came to my house to make final selection and measurements, then returned to install the shades. I was amazed how efficiently he worked and how quickly he completed the installation. It all went incredibly smoothly and I have had no trouble with any of the shades. When I later realized I needed additional tensioners, Lee responded (as described above) without hesitation, even though it was many months (10!) after the original installation.

I would recommend them and they did an excellent job. It was priced well and they showed up when they said they were going to. They worked with me when I had some delays because of another contractor. They came in and put it up, did a great job and then moved on.

This is an owner-run operation...owner and his wife are only folks you deal with. They are fantastic...always on time, very reasonably priced and provide excellent quality of workmanship, not to mention they are "good people". Everything was as ordered, fit perfectly and installed without a problem. Owner even helped my husband fix our garage door opener while he was here! Now that's going well above and beyond expectations.

Visited for ideas and gave a proposal that fit our desires, to add wood blinds & valances to two windows and custom shutters to a double window in bedroom. Installed blinds in Sep and returned for installation of custom plantation shutters in October. As I was on travel, Lee coordinated with a neighbor to gain access and do the job. Great result and a quality product. I would definitely recommend and/or use again in the future.
