Two Men & A Truck

Octavious and Kenneth were the movers. They were great guys...very professional and friendly. They took great pains to pad and wrap all fragile items. They maintained a quick pace while continuing to be extremely careful with the furniture and boxes.

The move went fantastic. They loaded and unloaded and packed all the items into the storage unit. Malcolm and Dwayne were on time and professional. I would use them again.

Excellent. I knew someone who told me, so it was word of mouth.

I had Anthony and Cederic as my movers. They were AMAZING. They arrived right on time, and completed my whole move in two hours. They moved my smaller items into large boxes and moved so quickly. Everything was placed exactly where I wanted it in record time. I have moved a lot and this is easily the best moving experience I've had.

I had no problems with them. They were fine. They were courteous and they seemed to be concerned that nothing got damaged.

The move was quick and painless, but a wrist watch was stolen. When I spoke to a manager about it, he said stolen goods are not covered by their insurance and that my only recourse was to file a police report. Theft can happen anytime, but beware that they will assume you are lying if one of their employees steals your belongings.

They didn't really move things the way we wanted or thought that was proper. They didn't move one particular piece because we didn't like the way they were handling it. They chose not to move it at all and we had to hire someone to come and move it as an individual piece. It wasn't great. They didn't like that we questioned how they were handling things. They took offense to it and had an attitude about it. A few things were slightly damaged. I guess that is fairly normal for moving.

3 movers arrived 1.5 hours late. Truck size estimated too small, did not have enough room for all our stuff. One of three movers quit after 3 hours, he was the driver of the truck, neither of the other two were authorized to drive the truck. Had to wait 2 hours for additional mover to arrive. Other two movers stopped working till supervisor arrived. We bought the 2 movers lunch. Getting late in the day, we had to pitch in to help move our own stuff into the house. Supervisor arrived and lowered their price due to all the problems. We just wanted these guys out of our house. Had to rent a van for 2 days to move the rest of our stuff that was left behind. We will never again use this company. What a disaster.

We called and placed the order for a truck and told them the size of our home, number of rooms and that we had a garage and attic that had a lot of items in them. Based on that, they sent a large truck and gave us a time estimate of 5-6 hours at $120/hour. When the three men arrived, on time, we had already removed all the boxes from the attic and they were ready to load. They wrapped all furniture up in plastic and it made it to our house with no damage that I remember. There was one major problem, however, that makes me not want to recommend them in the future: The man in charge of the crew immediately upon arrival began to tell us that he was told that there would be only boxes, not furniture and tried to make us feel bad about that. We made it clear that we reserved a moving truck to move all of our belongings, including furniture (isn't that usual when you move house?). He proceeded to huff and complain the ENTIRE 5 hours. The other two guys were very friendly and hard working and did a great job and even tried to apologize for the other guy. At the end of the job, the head of the crew told us he could "make us a deal" if I "knew what he meant". I wasn't sure I did and said we would pay for their time, which ended up being the same amount as the original estimate. I felt like he was trying to scam us the entire time. In addition, the moving truck drove off our driveway at the old house, leaving MAJOR deep divits in the side yard and crushing a pipe. They were supposed to come fix it (Because we were trying to sell the house!), but it was such a complicated process to get them to fix their mess that we took care of it ourselves so we could sell our home.

The whole experience was great, from scheduling to the actual move. When the guys arrived, they were pleasant and went straight to work. They took extra care of my belongings and loaded and unloaded them with ease. I couldn't have asked for a nicer experience.

On the moving date, they were on time and very efficient. They spent less time than quoted. They were very careful and nothing was damaged.

They worked hard for 10 hrs without complaining, on a really hot day. Nothing was broken or marked up from the move. I can't say enough good about them.

Overall they did a good job. They dinged a few walls and I have some minor nicks on my on wooden furniture.

Broke stuff and would not pay for it. We had offered to carry a very nice mirror in our car wrapped in quilts because they didn't appear to be careful carrying what was already wrapped up or boxed. They said they would carefully handle it. So we went on ahead and let them wrap it. It was broken upon arrival at the townhouse. Other things were also broken where boxes were carefully marked fragile in big red letters. They were marked as glass items. Many were broken and not handled well. They were never replaced or refunded.

The 3-man crew arrived right on time and loaded up quickly. Very professional - they were friendly, courtesy and handled everything with care. Nothing was damaged and they completed the move faster than we expected despite getting stuck behind a car accident and 30 minute delay on 55. Thanks!

They arrived on time, loaded our stuff and delivered it the next day. They worked with us while we figured out a potential 'delay of close' and were on stand by. The guys were very friendly and professional. Our stuff was perfectly placed for us and they came in under budget.

The movers were great but they ended up causing damage. When I reached out to them, they were unwilling to compensate for the damages. After 6 months, I had to hire a lawyer to recoup the cost of damages. The movers themselves were very good but I had all of the trouble with their office staff.

Price was reasonable, they showed up on time and got the job done on time with no damage to house or furniture.

It went really well. They wrok by the hour so we prepacked everything. They were very careful with all our furniture. I would definietly use them again

Scope of work included loading from house and unloading and arranging in storage unit. Moving crew was punctual, professional, and didn't waste any time on this move. Cost was reasonable for a specified number of hours, and move was completed earlier than the allotted time.

I reserved a moving date with Two Men and a Truck, and was provided with all of the information I needed about the hourly rate, what time the truck would show up, and other pertinent details. The office contacted me two days before the moving date to confirm everything. On the day of my move, the crew showed up at 9:15 AM (I had been told they'd arrive between 9 and 10, so they were right on time!) and began working right away. All three crew members (Dallas, Derek, and Jet) were professional and good at loading and unloading. They worked quickly but carefully, were friendly, and padded and wrapped my possessions very well. At my new home, the guys unloaded everything quickly again, but carefully. It's now a day later, and I haven't noticed any damage to any of my possessions, nor have I noticed any dents in walls, etc. caused by yesterday's move. The price for their services was exactly as described...an hourly rate plus an additional fee (equal to the hourly rate) for their travel time. I am extremely pleased with how my move went, thanks in large part to how great Two Men and a Truck handled everything. Moving is very stressful and it seems that something goes wrong with most every move, but not this time. I couldn't recommend Two Men and a Truck in Durham any more than I am.

The guys showed up about 15-20 minutes before I was expecting them, which was fantastic. I had hired them to move a bookshelf of a unique size and shape, which made traditionally moving it hard. It had to be flipped over the banister to get it downstairs. But the 3 of them were awesome, they got it flipped and down with no damages what so ever. Then, when that stuff was all loaded they asked if they should take the pile of 30 boxes I had packed and ready in the living room with the couch, said it would be no trouble at all. Robert & crew made my day so much easier. They got everything loaded and then unloaded in less than an hour.

The Raleigh/Durham team of Salvador U., Julio, and Rafael did a WONDERFUL job. They handled our possessions as if they were their own. I'd HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs to have furniture or possessions moved. They contacted me the morning of the moved to let me know that they were on their way, they arrived on time and immediately went to work. They finished loading 2 trucks and went from Wake Forest, NC to Taylors, SC ion the same day and unloaded both trucks in the same day. They did a GREAT job!!!!

They were wonderful – They packed everything very carefully and were very attentive to our requests. We would definitely use them again.

.EVEN THOUGH I USED TWO MEN AND A TRUCK FROM ARDEN NC, THEY WERE GREAT. WHEN THEY GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE, I KNEW IT WOULD TAKE LONGER THAN TREE HOURS. SO I PLANNED ON IT COSTING MORE. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. NOTHING WAS DAMAGED. EVERYTHING WAS WRAPPED TO PROTECT THE FURNITURE. THE GUYS WERE SO NICE AND POLITE. VERY EFFICIENT. WORKED VERY HARD UNTIL THE JOB WAS COMPLETE. WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR SURE.
