TROSA Moving

Trosa was wonderful...They moved and stored many items for me, and accepted and held more stuff shipped from Boston. They tracked everything accurately, and delivered it all to my new home.

My move was scheduled for the afternoon but Trosa called to see if they could come in the morning. My understanding is that the morning people called to reschedule for the afternoon. I asked for 60 minutes to get last minute things ready, and the truck arrived promptly at the time agreed. The lead person went over all the details of the move, liability, etc. I was not moving electronics or boxes packed by myself. My house has pine wood floors so floor space was covered for the removal of furniture. From start to finish the move went beyond expectations. The crew even assembled a table I had purchased (still in the box) for the move. Today, I saw a Trosa truck in my new neighborhood, and I smiled. I plan to use this company again and have recommended to my neighbors.

This went extremely well. As for the details, these guys were booked to show up at 8:30. I was doing some prep work, and thought I heard a truck, but it was 7:55 so I didn't check. They were indeed waiting at the gate of my storage unit. Prompt service! I met the crew leader and then the crew. They took a look at the storage unit and gave me an estimate. They immediately set to work and finished quickly. I don't think it even took 30 minutes start to finish. The crew took their scheduled break (not at my expense) before we drove to Raleigh. We found them a parking place near the building and I took them up to the condo. I left one my access cards with the team leader, and they began to unload. This meant leaving the truck, going into a garage, loading a passenger (not freight elevator) and navigating non-straight halls to my condo. They strapped two pallets together, loaded it with stuff and then wrapped it in plastic. These barges meant they only had to make that long trip three or four times. You may think "duh" but my building is very picky about damage when moving. They didn't do any. My stuff all arrived intact. The price was less than quoted. I've seen TROSA trucks downtown several times since. I highly recommend them, even with the different tricks of moving in and out of a tight area. They've got it.

Spent about 30 minutes then answered all my questions. Received an email estimation around 2 PM with several options. 6/23 Received a confirmation call for the move. 6/24 6 people showed up 8:15 AM (15 minutes earlier). Town home packed by 11 AM Arrived at the new house then delivered all the furniture (reassembled) and boxes by 12:30 PM This was our 6th moves (including 3 interstate moves). And it was probably the best one. Simply amazing. Great hardworking people.

They were prompt on both occasions, brought a large crew to minimize the time, very careful with all of the items (using pads, wrapping before theymoved). They follow up to ensure satisfaction. We had a few items that were damaged in move and they assign someone from TROSA to ensure they are repaired/replaced promptly. They provided updates every other day on the status.

I had TROSA move my belongings from two different locations. They came out for a quote and were very professional. They showed up on time on moving day and were very fast. They moved everything in and helped me put it all where I wanted. The 3 men were very courteous and professional.

I've used movers before, but these guys were by far the best. Plus, it's a really good cause. Initial setup for the move was handled via email. Trosa was always prompt in responding and addressing my concerns. They gave me an excel spreadsheet to fill out documenting everything that I needed to move. I made a couple of errors in this, greatly underestimating what we'd need to move by about 10 boxes or so. When I contacted them to let them know I had more than what was originally quoted, they seemed not at all worried and told me they'd take care of it. My original quote was for around $800 for the move. On moving day, they brought a truck and a vanload of guys to quickly - and I mean QUICKLY - load everything from the apartment. I'd say it took them somewhere around 30-45 minutes to get all of the stuff out and onto the truck. I was amazed. From there, we made the 45 minute drive to the house, where again they unloaded everything extremely quickly - probably 25-35 minutes. These guys are no joke. They put all the boxes and furniture in their appropriate rooms, and even assembled our bed frame for us. Once it was all said and done, when it came time to pay, the lead showed me the worksheet and I was floored to see that the cost was actually only $600. They were done in less than 2 and a half hours, were professional as can be, took extra special care with everything so that nothing was broken or even slightly damaged, and on top of that, charged me LESS than what was originally quoted. I don't plan on moving again any time soon, but if I do, I'll use them. I've been raving about them to my friends who are moving for a year. You cannot beat this level of service, period.

TROSA offers great moving service. This is the 3rd time I've used them! Before they got started we went over all the paper work and price estimates. They brought boxes, tape, blankets, and bubble wrap - everything need to insure safe delivery of my furniture. They were super nice and very easy to work with. I highly recommend them!

I was very impressed with Trosa. They showed up early, introduced themselves, explained options for insurance and then got down to work. They looked at what we had to move, made a plan of attack, and worked together. They made quick work of our stuff. The thing that took the longest was wrapping the mattresses. Once we arrived at the new apartment, it was discovered that our front door jamb had just been painted and was still wet. Luckily we were on the first floor and the guys moved most of our stuff over the patio railing. A few items went through the front door and not a drop of paint got anything. They finished right at 2 hours as quoted. I would definitely use them again!

This is the second time we have used Trosa and are just as pleased as the first time. The team was respectful of our property. They handled the furniture carefully. Professional in every possible respect. We will definitely use them again.

They were really easy to get a quote from, I didn't have to set up an appointment. I just described the furniture and the amount that I have and they provided with an estimate over the phone. The quote was almost exactly what the cost actually was. They're are good at estimating. During the moved they were actually early, they were very efficient, and they were thorough and easy to work with. I didn't even have any damage to any of my belonging, so that's a big help too.

Due to the weather we had to delay the move by a day, however the three young men who came arrived on time, worked hard, got everything moved inside of an hour, and were very professional.

The TROSA crew was the most professional, courteouse, and efficient movers I have ever used. They arrived a few minutes early and packed items on Monday, packed one truck on Monday afternoon, and packed the remaining items in a second truck on Tuesday morning. Everything was delivered and offloaded to my new house on Tuesday. They were very careful with my belongings, wrapping all the furniture in either shrink wrap or moving blankets. Boxed items were carefully wrapped as well. One nice thing about the TROSA crew was that they sent 8 men--which meant the work was done much more quickly than I've experienced in the past when only 2 or 3 individuals were involved as packers and movers. The final bill was actually less than the original estimate, which was in itself quite reasonable. I would heartedly recommend TROSA to anyone!

The TROSA crew was professional and responsive. From Mr. Fudge who adjusted the work plan over the phone to the moving team everyone was very responsive. The movers arrived on time and explained the process they would follow. They used the time very efficiently and used great care with all items. The final cost was well within the estimated cost.

Trosa is simply outstanding. The site manager and his team were very respectful, treated out possessions with care, and were punctual. They provided a quote that was half that provided by one of the other movers, and they ended up billing even lower. We cannot recommend Trosa highly enough! Our house was very large, so the value was excellent.

The job went perfectly. There was no damage. They were courteous and did everything we required of them. They helped us put things in their proper places and cleaned up after themselves.

I was very pleased with them. Everyone was super, they explained everything. I even donated to the cause, these guys are trying really hard and I think people need to support people who want to change their lives for the better and I felt really good about that. They broke two things but they didn't tell me either, that's the only thing that I wish they'd done. They acted extremely professional. Whatever price I paid it might be higher than someone else was worth it. These guys didn't talk, didn't fool around, they went right to work and did their thing.

Trosa was very responsive with contacts, scheduling, etc. The men worked very hard and worked quickly to get the job done and were friendly. Would caution future customers that you should watch your boxes marked "fragile" to be sure they are handled correctly and watch out for your walls. The house had just been painted and after the move, it needs to be painted again, especially in the stair wells. I would use again but would be more closely involved.

First of all, John Speight, manager at Trosa, was great to work with. My closing dates kept changing but John worked with me and was very patient. When I finally got a solid closing date and time I called John. It was about 4:15 p.m Friday, Sep 6 when everything was finalized regarding the closing. I called John and to my appreciation and delight, he had a crew on stand-by and sent them right over as the last job for the day. The movers(6 or 7) got to my house around 6:00 p.m. They introduced themselves, were very polite and extremely professional, not to mention quick. They had almost all three bedrooms in the truck by the time Jessie and I finished discussing the contract terms. The movers torn down beds and furntiure, shrink-wrapped bedding,and took extra care with items I identified that were fragile, etc. The moved everythiing, including tear down and set-up in about 3 to 4 hours. No damaged items or nicks in the walls that I could see. My friend was also there and could not believe how efficient and detailed they were. They packed the truck to optimize space and ensure only one trip was needed. I could not be happier with the service or the price. I definitely recommend TROSA.
