Description of Work: They showed up on time, replaced the discolored portion of ceiling from a leak and repainted it. You could not tell where the damage had been.

Description of Work: Very professional team of painters. They speckled and sanded cracks to perfection and when they were done you would never have known they were here. Very clean!

Description of Work: The provider painted the exterior of my home in a bad season for outside work and did a wonderful job in a very short period of time. This provider did some work for me last year on the interior of my home and we were so pleased we called upon them to do this work for us under somewhat dire circumstances. We had contracted with another company, Upchurch Painting, through Angie's List back in the fall of 2015. Upchurch kept putting us off and finally refused to honor our contract. I disclosed this to Tropical when I called them and they were gracious to come out and do the work for us at the very best price they could, which was more than the Upchurch price of $1499.00, but very acceptable to us considering everything. I can't say enough good things about Tropical Painting.

Description of Work: TWO painters for eight hours. They didn't mess around either, knocked it right out and got more done than I had anticipated. They were so efficient that I got a very large hallway done that I hadn't expected. Very nice and professional and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed.

Description of Work: My first experience using Angie's List. | |I made the Appointment, paying the money in late August (Aug 27). He scheduled me for October 14th (which was OK, but I wanted to do it sooner) but then, communicating only through Angies List, he told me he needed to postpone it to November because of a wreck. Then I never knew exactly when they were coming and finally had to call him up again and find out when they would be here. I bought the paint in October. | |They did an good job when they came, but it was a one day kind of thing and I had other work I wanted to do but he was already on to other jobs. | |I never saw the Owner just the two painters, who were great, but I am not sure I would use them again.

Description of Work: Tropical Painting & general Construction showed up on time, and did a wonderful job painting our exterior garage (4) and exterior doors. The painters were professional, friendly and meticulous with their work.

Description of Work: I am surprised this company is so highly rated on Angie's list. I purchased a deal in August for 2 painters for 2 days. It is now November and I only have half the work done (and that was difficult to get even that part done) The owner told me the deals are so successful that they are months behind, but I don't this is great customer service to sell the deal and then tell the customer they will have to wait 3 months before the work will be completed. The actual painting that was done, I was happy with.

Description of Work: Second time we have sued Tropical painting. This time we had them paint our screened in porch and living room built ins. Detail and workmanship is excellent. We are currently getting ready to use them for a third time.

Description of Work: Bought a deal for two rooms to be painted for $299. It was well worth it. Ricardo came at 8:30am and spent the day painting my master bedroom and bathroom. He did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to hire them again
