Description of Work: We installed a new front door assembly as well as a new front porch structure and roof. Tropical was able to handle both the door assembly, and then the the new porch structure, as well as wrought iron railings. So actually three separate paint procedures. As usual, they performed each professionally. We have used Tropical twice in the past, this being our third job experience. We were very pleased with every job.

Description of Work: Painters that came out were very friendly, hard working, fast yet careful, and attentive to detail! We are very happy with the work performed!

Description of Work: Two painters came in for 8 hours of painting. They arrived and I went through what I wanted done. They did a great job of preparing and did all the areas that we wanted done. The only issue I had is that I found them outside cleaning off their rollers on my grass and I didn't appreciate washing paint onto my grass. They should have asked where they could clean up instead of just doing it where a hose was. The work they did was excellent though.

Description of Work: Drywall repair. Looked good, just wish it wasn't as difficult to get them to our home.On the day they were rescheduled, we had to call them when they did not show at the appointed time.

Description of Work: Tropical painting was great I would/will hire in a heartbeat on the next big project. We had the interior of our home (walls only, no trim or closets) painted. Michael was great he worked with us on color choice to advice while helping us stay in budget. The reason I gave a C on responsiveness was the delay in returning calls/emails. Other than that I will use again for sure.

Description of Work: After an initial mixup in arrival time due to Angie's List web site being in transition and not allowing anyone to access their messages, Mike got Raphael here to remove the wallpaper as contracted for. Since it was more difficult than expected, the time ran over but we were pleased enough with the job being done that we had it completed. We were very happy with the job that was done.

Description of Work: The owner of the company quickly rescheduled another appointment for me when it became clear that my wallpaper was not going to come off easily. They came back and applied Kilz and covered the seams. I was happy with his attention to rescheduling quickly and their professionalism.

Description of Work: I bought the Big Deal for 3 hours of drywall repairs for $99. Communication & scheduling with Michael Almestica was prompt, responsive and professional. We are very satisfied with the quality and value of their work and would use them again.

Description of Work: Tropical Painting Company removed wallpaper from my bathroom. After I purchased the deal, I was quickly contacted by them to set a date for the work to be performed. Something came up and I had to reschedule, which they were very understanding about. They were very friendly and accommodating and did a great job. They were prompt and professional and I not only would, but am using them for an upcoming project. Pleasant experience.
