Dishonest pricing; do not give these people your business. My mom waited weeks to be able to have someone come look at her washer, and they only gave her a date and never called to tell what time they were coming. The repairmen couldn't find anything wrong with her machine, just determined it was working ok after 15 minutes. Then they charged her $100+ for doing nothing. I can understand charging something for a service call, but that just seemed super excessive, like they were taking advantage of a single, nice old lady.

A repairman came out to the house to repair our refrigerator and prior to paying we asked him to provide us with a receipt that included the work that was done, the diagnosis made by the company and a statement of the warranty for parts and labor. The repairman said he could not provide us with such a receipt and continued to demand payment. We restated our need for the receipt and the repairman got combative in a way that made us uncomfortable having him in our home. We asked him to leave and requested that he have the office send us the receipt so that we could then make payment. He honored our request to leave but not before he brusquely pulled from my hand the paper he had previously handed me. The repairman also did not conduct himself well during the repair. Several times he dismissed our request to protect the refrigerator door from being damaged by the wall. Finally WE placed a shim behind the wheel so that the refrigerator door had the necessary clearance. Throughout the servicing the repairman expressed frustration and we believe that he was cursing to himself at a low volume, but not low enough for it to go unheard. We expect people who come into our home to treat us with respect and make us feel comfortable in their presence. This was not the case and we would never have this company come back to our home.

Good grief. It's been months and the correct dishwasher part still has not been replaced. The first repairman came out, ordered 2 parts, shipped them to our house. Returned, replaced one part (the wrong one - one that was in perfect working condition) and didn't replace the hinges. He did, however, take them with him. The second repairman came out without the hinges, argued they were replaced, tried to blame it on the way the dishwasher was installed, then when asked to install it "properly" (seriously?) agreed that the hinges are defective and need to be replaced. Said we would hear from them for a follow-up. We never did. This will be the fourth attempt at a repair for a unit under warranty. I WOULD NEVER CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. LOWES DID.

Triangle Appliance Repair replaced the broken glass. They were great to work with.

Provider came out promptly and said 2 pieces needed to be replaced. When asked how much it would cost he estimated around $200. I told him to go ahead. When they came to repair the machine they sent the technician with a $322 bill.

I had an extended warranty on my four-year-old Maytag washing machine from Lowe's. It stopped working, and Lowe's made an appointment for Triangle to come out and fix it. The first visit was Wed, Dec 9th, and the repair person said he had to order a part, and it would be in the first of the week. The first of the week came and went, and I heard nothing. These people do not answer their phone or keep one informed. I called Lowe's, and even they could not reach Triangle. It was past the number of days Lowe's allows for appliances to be fixed. Triangle finally came the end of the week, and guess what! They had to order a different part. Hhmmmm, why didn't they order the necessary parts the first time! Again, it was going to be another five days, and they did not show up when they said they would, and they did not call to give me an update. Again, Lowe's could not reach them. Finally, a very rude guy answered the phone on the 28th after I had left an irate message, and he told me that they could not get the parts and recommended that Lowe's replace the machine. (I might be off a day on my time frame) This experience with Triangle was a nightmare. It is a mystery how a company that does not communicate with its customers can stay in business.

Cliff was polite and pleasant and diagnosed the problem with ease. He needed to order a part and would come back in a few weeks to have it fixed. Triangle Appliance and Repair only comes to Raleigh on Wednesdays. It has now been over a month and the burner has not been fixed. I've called Triangle Appliance Repair numerous times during their business hours and have gotten their voicemail 9 out of 10 times. I spoke with a person twice (on seperate weeks) and both times was assured that someone would call me to schedule an appointment for someone to come to the house. The part was ordered and is available. Neither time did anyone follow up with me to schedule the appointment. The other times I called and got their voicemail I was always dishearted to listen to their message. "We will call you back, your call is very important to us, we will contact you to schedule your repair, we will follow up with you, we look forward to speaking with you" is their message. Honestly, this could not be further from the truth. I was never called back...ever. They also recommended in their voicemail message that you can send an email to schedule a repair. I shouldn't have been surprised that I never heard back from them via that method of communication either. Needless to say I was terribly disappointed with the lack of communication and was completely let down by Triangle Appliance Repair. I have had to contact Thermodor to get another recommendation for someone to come fix the burner on my stove. If you do choose to use this company, don't ever expect a callback or a follow up email, and don't expect a speedy fix to your applicance problems.

Both Lowe's and LG informed me that they reprimanded Triangle Appliance Repair for failing to show up and for hostility toward a customer on the phone. Lowe's scheduled two service calls with Triangle Appliance to repair my LG washer. Each time, Triangle Appliance accepted the appointment in the automated system, later realized they overbooked, and cancelled the appointment in the system without notifying anyone. After an appointment is accepted, there is no automated notification of cancellation, so the provider must call. The first time, I waited three hours. The second time, Lowe's called to confirm the appointment after scheduling it. I also called to confirm the day before the appointment. The person I spoke with said I don't have an appointment. When I asked what happened, since Lowe's confirmed. He said that this is just a courtesy call and he doesn't have to deal with me or Lowe's. He said to go talk to Lowe's and hung up. I informed Lowe's and LG. They called him and he was forced to admit that he overbooks. LG sent a technician from a different company the next day. Lowe's is looking into using a different service provider for my area. The Angie's List ratings I read indicated "F"s for similar scheduling problems and "A"s for actual service. The implication is that they do good work if they show up. This is not helpful for me because they never showed up. Triangle Appliance's disorganization delayed a simple repair for over three weeks.

They are very professional. They were the only people who were certified Fisher Paykel. He was very prompt. Their professionalism and quality of their work stood out the most. They are very busy so it did take a few days to get out to us.

9am - called them to schedule appointment. Described issue - the same issue they came out to repair in March, was told they would call us back by noon. 1pm - called them again, was told they had not yet started to book Friday appointments, and would call us in the next few hours. 4pm - called them again, no answer. 4:20pm - called them again, no answer. 4:40pm - called them again, no answer. Total lack of follow through on something as simple as setting an appointment!

Worst customer service I originally called Triangle Appliance Repair over two weeks ago to get a small repair done on my under warranty dryer. They called me back to set up an appointment but when I gave them my zip code (downtown Durham), they were suddenly booked. I tried to find another company to work with and even called the store where I purchased the dryer from, but they are the only company locally who services my brand of dryer. The owner of the store where I purchased the dryer called them to set up an appointment, but when they called me, they still wouldn't set up an appointment, they said that they would try to and quot;fit me inand quot; and would only be able to give me 24 hours notice before they could tell me when my appointment was going to be. They called me three times yesterday without leaving messages and when I called back they said they didn't have a record of me calling, that they were maybe trying to fill a cancelled appointment (apparently they make appointments for other people, just not me). When he finally realized that he had spoken to me before, he said he needed to call me back and hung up. I've called or left messages 5 times and still don't have an appointment. Every time I talk to someone on the phone they are rude and dismissive. I would not recommend working with this company unless you absolutely have to because of a warranty.

I had procured an agreement with Frigidaire to pay for parts and labor to fix our 18-month-old microwave by a certified Frigidaire technician, which Triangle provided. Chris arrived at the appointed time, removed the appliance from its place over the stove, took the time to explain what he discovered about the source of the malfunction, took photos of the burned out part as proof, replaced tha part, and re-installed the microwave. He worked quickly and efficiently and demonstated professional demeanor throughout the process. The microwave has been working efficiently for the past six weeks.

Todd, one of the owners, arrived right on time, and quickly and quot;sussed outand quot; the problem. On my Kenmore model 417.42042100, front-loading unit, the cold-water supply to the automated dispenser of detergent, bleach, and fabric softener had failed. My well water is very hard, with calcium and iron carbonates. Hard water that was becoming concentrated in the non-functioning dispenser had left permanent iron stains on clothes, ruining them. Todd quickly diagnosed a clogged cold-water line. Sediment from my well had obstructed the line. Todd showed me how to dismantle the dispenser to descale it, and where to install and clean filtration screens on the cold-water supply line. The $95.00 fee is their minimum for a service call in my rural area (zip code 27503).

I had an issue with my washing machine, or at least I thought. I called them, the owner came out and the problem didn't happen again. He had me pay the trip charge and said if we have more issues in the next 30 days he would come out and apply the fee for that trip. Low and behold, we had a problem with our fridge the following week. he came out and repaired it! They were professional, on time and so reasonable.
