they can not fix the refrigerator and refuse to refund the money. my refrigerator freeze drinks month ago and i hired speedy nelson to fix it. They came replace a part and change me $120. I found that the problem was not fixed and the ice/water dispenser stop working. I contacted them again and they came back to with a different size of the same part. This time the new part did make the ice/water dispenser working again but the drinks still got freezing. The refrigerator is basically back to the stage before fixing. I asked refund because they can not fix the problem. They refuse to do it because they have used some new part. Then I asked to put my old part back they said they only keep the old parts for 3 days. The bottom line is i paid $120 and they did nothing for my refrigerator.

Described situation over the phone, and technician was quickly able to locate problem when she arrived. Turns out that the Defroster Heater had burnt out, which she quickly replaced with available spare from her truck. I'm very satisfied with the timely manner the technician got to our home, and how quickly she was able to identify and repair the problem. The company also does heating and cooling, and duct work, and I'd definitely look to call them again. As regards the B rating for price, "Cheap" is just one of my middle names, but I'm happy overall about the work they done.

He was able to come out the same night of my initial phone call and he didn?t charge extra for coming late at night. He was able to replace and fix the heat pump with parts on his truck and was also able to check the compressors on both units and the pressure of puron levels on both units as well.

Mr. Nelson was prompt in responding, he was professional and thorough and explained everything. We felt he was very honest. If we do decide to replace the heating system in the future, we would definitely use him.

I had Speedy out to check my Gas pack. A prior contractor I wasn't really happy with told me that I needed to replace an exhaust fan. Estimate of cost -- $750. I decided to get a 2nd opinion. Speedy came out same day and got the unit working, saying the fan was sticking a little, but didn't need replacement yet. Also had him clean the A/C coils. Total of $135 was much less. Mr Nelson's English isn't the best, but he's incredibly nice, punctual, and professional. I'd definitely call him again!

Carrboro's best kept secret. We've had Speedy out three times for various HVAC issues. Each time, his bids are extremely reasonable because he can actually repair things. The other companies always want to replace things; sometimes the entire unit! They always explain what they are doing and why.
