Installed products in 2018. The Attic fans have a 10-year warranty (at least according to the web site). I have an issue and have contacted this company with website contact as well as multiple phone calls (had to leave voicemail each time because no one answers the phone). I would not recommend them for any type of services.

Excellent, professional and on time.

We were pleased with the installation however, due to a ceiling fan in the same area there was a strobe light affect during the day which was quite distracting. The owner worked with us at his cost to correct the situation.

The task was much more difficult that we and they anticipated. But Scott found a clever solution even though it required him to crawl into a small chase between the attic and the first floor ceiling. Our experience with Solar Solutions was first rate from the first conversation with Karen to the final installation and clean-up by Scott. We highly recommend working with them. The outcome was just what we had hoped for.

Spectacular!! Found out about Solatubes from an architect that I was working with. He brought these wonderful lights to my attention. Went on the internet and found Solar Solutions in Durham. Called, set an appointment for the following week to find out first hand what they do. Owner came over, we talked, I was sold, and set up an appointment for the 16th to have 3 installed. The installer (who has been working for Solar Solutions for 16 years) showed up on time and got started. I was so impressed that I had a fourth SolaTube installed that day (thankful that the installer carries extras on his trailer). Had a 14" tube installed in the kitchen because I needed it to do it's thing during the day but also light up at night. I am so HAPPY!!! My house has a different feel to it now that I have better light in the house during the day.

The sales man was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. We came up with the plan and he had a quote to me the next day. The tech was on time and also polite, professional and knowledgeable.. He did the initial measurements and determined the original plan had to be adjusted (my house had a "handyman" living here before me and there are a number of interesting arrangements). He was able to quickly explain my options and was able to accommodate the change without having to reschedule. The Solatubes were all installed within 7 hours and they are great.

They came promptly and got the job done quickly. The price was reasonable and I would use their services again in the future.

Very happy with my Solutabe's and with Solar Solutions install and service. The installer was great (cant remember his name but he has been doing it for 18 years). The wife acceptance factor (WAF) is actually pretty high on the Solatube's. They look great in each bathroom and the closet. We went with the clear covers and they give off a bright natural light. No leaks and we have had some big storms since the installs. Overall, very happy with Solar Solutions, the install, and the product. Will be adding some additional tube's in the future and will try to post a picture of it.

Scott and Eric were great. Easy to communicate with, and pleasant to have in the home. The job took ~ 7 hours. We have a very wooded yard. I had several trees cut back. The sunlight is wonderful. No more dark rooms. We rarely have to turn any lights on during the day, as in the past. The house is so bright and cheerful now. I'm looking forward to see how much more sun we get, when the leaves are off the trees. I've gotten many compliments from visitors since the solar lights were installed.

Interested in installing day lighting and attic fan based on available Federal and State tax credits the significantly reduce the cost. Requested quote for purchase and installation of solatube brand skylight and a solar attic ventilation fan. The basic pricing and information was sent through an e-mail and I was directed to their showroom for examples. The information was good, but very cookie cutter and nothing I could not have found on their web site. Ultimately went with another company that was more expensive, but offered more details and explanation of installation and a lifetime warranty on the attic fan.

Excellent. He was quick and complete. Was able to accommodate some double rafters in the way and give us a mostly straight shot from roof to ceiling. He came in under budget and finished in about four hours!

They were very creative in their approach in that I have a two story house and I wanted one in my kitchen and they were able to find way to make sure I can have one in my kitchen even with the second story on top.

We were very satisfied with their service. The only thing that I would say about them is that they went through the evaluation a little quick. They mentioned our trees and stuff in the front yard but I wish they had given a little bit more mention about the effect it would have on our house. Right now it is winter and summer is the only time we are going to have lessened lighting in the room because of the position of our house and trees. I wish they had told me a little bit more about that upfront. They were professional, timely, the material was good and the installation went great. I was pretty impressed with their work.

They were knowledgeable, professional, easy to deal with, and the installation was very clean. I would Highly recommend them.

Mr. McDonald came to our home to explain the whole system and the installation process to me and my husband (who is a structural engineer and very demanding.) We then visited their showroom and committed to the installation, which was done the next day. The young man who did the installation was fast, the job was done well, and there was absolutely no mess left when he was finished. The whole process was problem-free, and we love the new-found light in our hall and bath. It makes a wonderful difference in the feeling of the two areas.

Scott was there on time and worked through out the day until the job was complete, as he had done the year before. We now need no lights on in the house during most days.

You can see perfectly in our bathroom during the day with the solitude even though we don't have a window in there. They even told us how to get an energy efficient tax break. They aren't cheap but they are definitely worth it. They were very helpful. They gave us explanations and options. When we were ready, they told us to get the roof installed and then call them out. There have been no leaks. They installed them without any problem.
