SHEILA CARPENTER

Sheila was recommended to us by a friend as we were relocating to Durham and needed to find a new home. She contacted us while we were in Ohio by phone to set up details for house hunting. In Feb 2008 we came to Durham and met with her to look at some houses and get an idea of what the different neighborhoods were like. After returning to Ohio we kept in touch via e-mail and phone, and then we returned in May to really find a house. In less than a week we found the perfect home for us. Sheila drove us around, made cookies and brought toys for my 2 year-old son. She was extremely accommodating and patient. She has great experience, knows Durham because she grew up here, and she has a background in interior design which made her extremely knowledgeable about houses. When we found our house she was professional and confident in dealing with the seller and their agent. We needed to get some estimates on work to be done on the house before putting in the offer and she got them done within a few days. We are deeply indebted to her for all the work she's put into helping us find our home.
