No response from the vendor so used another one.

As Maintenance Director for a home owners association on a private street, I dealt with having our street "sealed" or "seal coated." I had on site interviews with four reputable companies, got proposals from each. Mr. Satterfield, the company founder, came on a rainy day to inspect our street and to offer a number of useful observations about it, relevant and irrelevant to the project under consideration. He even took an extra tour on his way out and called me from his cell phone to note some defects (not relevant to the project) that it would help me to know. He didn't take a note, but knew the project perfectly. The Satterffield proposal was the most detailed and useful and the lowest bid (by $23 over another "big" company). The office staff was very accommodating, even suggesting contract language that worked to our advantage where I didn't expect it. The four references were my choice from a review of their projects. Three professional property managers returned voice mails re their opinion of Satterfield (these are busy people!) to rave about the company. The fourth reference was a small church in a low-income area and got the same very positive review. Throughout ,the office staff, Mr. Satterfield, and his crew made every effort to make the project easy on our residents and did an excellent, professional job. I've gotten all positive feedback from the Board and the residents about the project and the work. If I had another project now, I would ask for a waiver of the HOA requirement to get four bids and ask to go right to Satterfield Paving. As Director for Street and Buildings Maintenance, I rate Satterfield at the very top of contractors with whom I have dealt.

When I went to work I had a gravel driveway and when I returned home it was beautifully blacktopped. I have had many neighbors stop over to let me know how pretty my driveway is now. This company is fantastic and I highly recommend them.
