 + -1 moreThey were very good at coming back and making sure everything got done. I would recommend them to neighbors and friends. It turned out with the way our shower was that he was not able to do it so he referred us to someone else who could do that work for us. We were very happy with the results of the entire remodel.
Description of Work: We used Petry Construction for a bathroom remodel.

 + -1 moreIn short, very unprofessional as was contained within another comment I read before I got him to do a bunch of odd jobs which he did do a good job which is why I was willing to give him a chance on a larger project - rebuilding a bigger deck.
Description of Work: Had multiple problems meeting with me and did not phone to tell me he wasn't going to show. Did nothing when promised to, gave me bad advice about composite decking I wanted to have installed telling me it could not be used for the the project without even seeing it even though I live less than 5 miles away. His opinion was overturned by every contractor I got a quote from as well as the seller of the material. Said I was too ready for file law suits against people when in my 57 years (I am an attorney) I have never filed a suit against anyone outside of my employment.

 + -1 moreMr. Petry came personally to our house to perform renovations to our shower/tube that we are very please with. He stands behind his work and knows what he is doing. The tiling was well done and grout/calking were finished as they should have been. Great doing business with him.

Description of Work: Called and asked to give an estimate on a bathroom remodel and other projects in a house we just purchased. I estimate that the work would have been priced near $8,000-$10,000. He showed up on time and I went over the nature of the work to be performed. He told me that we would email me an estimate within a few days. It has been 11 days later and I have had no estimate given nor any other communication from him. I guess he did not want the work and just didn't want to tell me. Quite unprofessional.

 + 3 moreConscientious and hard working, the crew did a fantastic job. They really care about the work they do and take pride in it.
Description of Work: Petry Construction did a number of jobs that needed doing. Including installing three new windows, removing and replacing and painting lots of rotted wood around the perimeter of the house and re-concreting the front porch.

 + 1 moreShannon asked us what kind of wood we wanted and what color. He arrived on time and was finished when he said he would be done. We had wanted a simple replacement of our old deck but with some additional steps. He called us with a suggestion to make the rails more interesting (with a little design) at no extra charge and we agreed it would look better so we told him to go ahead. We were very pleasantly surprised!
Description of Work: Shannon took down our old, rotten deck and replaced it with a new one.
