I am so glad we had Pat to guide us through our home buying experience here in Durham. It had been over 20 years since our last home purchase in California and we discoverd that real estate transactions can vary greatly from state to state and we were glad Pat was on our side. Pat is not a salesman. He is a seasoned counselor. He listens carefully and reads between the lines to discover what his client is looking for. What we thought we were looking for continuously evolved and Pat was very patient as we all honed in on what we finally wanted in a house. He instinctively knew that my style was to sort through the many listings he presented - on my own- and contact him only when I wanted to see a property. Yet he occasionally would call to touch base. We had a great working relationship. Pat's knowledge is very broad - from house construction, remodeling ideas, areas in the triangle , to the final transaction and everything in between. He's a great guy and deals very well with people but if something was not going right, in a timely manner during the purchasing transaction, he was on the job to make sure all was on track. Many things can go awry during the purchasing process and Pat was always behind the scenes would doing the legwork, or doggedly research whatever was necessary to keep the process on track. Although he specializes in residential property in Durham and surrounding areas, he located office space for my husband's business in a very convenient location when he needed it. Pat seems to know everybody! We've never experienced "buyer's remorse" and I know that's because of Pat. He's just that good.
