Their team is fantastic. They do a high-quality job and are very attentive to the finer details (appearance) of the yard. They are very responsive to questions and any special situations as they arise.

O'Mara did a fantastic job. They exceeded our expectations. Very professional. The project was completed timely too. Highly recommend them.

Job was supposed to be finished by end of January - they did not finish until May. Their communication is lousy with a capital LOUSY. Beware! Job crew came and sat around for several hours every time waiting for someone to show up to tell them what to do - then they worked for a couple of hours then left Never applied for permits! Watch out! We told them they had to and they seemed like this was news to them! They never seemed to know what they were doing when they showed up - it was like we were the contractors and told them what had to be done. Work that was done was good.

They come pretty regularly. They ave a contract with us. We've not been with them for very long but what we've seen from them so far is that they seem to be efficient and they seem to do what we want them to do. They've been really good.

I've previously reviewed negatively, after having O'Mara landscapers overprune and destroy some of my medium trees/hollies. I wanted to note that Mr. O'Mara sought me out and apologized, as well as provided several new plantings to fill in the open areas left behind by the aggressive pruning. He was very responsive to the mistake and did not charge me for the repair work, (which I estimate to be between 300-400 (7 new plants plus labor). I like Mr. O'Mara very much, but I would recommend for others is to be present on day 1 and speak with the foreman to ensure it is clear how you want the final product to look.

They do a really nice job and my lawn looks really good. They're friendly and courteous. If you have a problem they take care of it.

Basically they are an excellent lawn service. I had them to take care of shrubs but I was not happy with the results. They are responsive. I have dealt with the head of the company a number of times and he is really wonderful to work with, and he is supportive to his customers, very responsive, and in general I think he runs an excellent company. But I think to some extent compartmentalization is important to different companies, since they have different areas of expertise and that is what they should focus on and not cover the landscape too broadly with services that they may not be able to do.

There is always something that needs to be done. They are always putting in pre-emergent fertilizer on or some kind of weed killer or something or another. They are here all the time even in the winter. They have a list of about thirty things that they do for us. We can adjust the price up or down if we wanted to. I like the way it looks so I have them do a lot more for me. Sometimes I love the work that they do and other times I think they could do a little bit more. Sometimes they run over the sprinklers and I have to call them. They always come back and fix it. Sometimes I think they can be a little bit more careful in what they are doing. I think it's par for the course.

I interviewed several lawn companies before picking O'Mara. The owner is very personable and responsive. Unfortunately, the servicemen appear to have a "one size fits all" approach to pruning. After explicitly walking the grounds with Mr O'Mara and stating we wanted the backyard more loose, all shrubs and small trees were pruned into tight balls - including an expensive hemlock tree and multiple hollies that now have no branches for the lower 4 feet! Unrepairable, in my mind, without spending thousands of dollars. Also, they completely cut to the ground several flowering perennials that I was waiting until season was over before was over before I transplanted them. Lastly, when I calle dot complain, I got no significant response or apology. When I asked that no further pruning be done unless I was on site, they showed up without notice, and after leaving a message pruned anyways! I kept them as long as I did because they did offer a great price, but now I've found someone else and I'm jumping ship. If you want lawncare only, O'Mara is fine. If you have specific plans for your garden/landscaping, don't use them.

Mr. O'Mara's inital design was very thoughtful and everything he suggested has grown up beautifully in the last few years. I am very glad we went with Mr. O'Mara. Every time they come to my home, I am struck by the wonderful professionalism of all his workers.

Owner and his employees were all very professional, responsive and did high quality work. Quote was thorough and detailed, I knew exactly what I was getting and how much for each item (plants, mulch, and services performed). This is a company I feel I can trust to deliver services quoted in a timely and high quality manner. I have signed an ongoing maintenance contract with them given their level of quality service.

We asked three landscapers for estimates, total. Two of them were very positive about our yard and had lots of ideas and got back to me right away with estimates and plans. O'Mara, in contrast, was very negative about our yard, kept talking about the difficulties (lots of rocks and trees) and didn't listen well. Nevertheless, he took measurements and promised me an estimate within the week. I never heard back from him. Yeesh -- if he didn't want the job, he should have just said so! (The happy ending for us is that we hired one of the other landscapers, she did a fabulous job, and we now have a gorgeous yard that we love.)

I was just wowed by them. I thought they were wonderful. Mr. O'Mara came up with wonderful ideas. His designs have been so complimentary and have made our house and yard look so much better.

Mr. OMara is personable and responsive to issues. His crew's capability is uneven. We have had excellent experience at times and poor experience at others. Planting crews have done well with remarkable success of plantings taking and thriving. They have also done well at leaf removal with multiple sweeps of the property as the leaves fall. Sometimes lawn maintenance and mulching have gone well also. Sometimes not, Their seasonal reseeding tends to have good results. However, in two different years I have had to raise issue that the lawn maintenance crew not treating all the way to the property edge which only becomes apparent months later when the last 10 feet of lawn looks shabby compared to the rest. Now I just become a pest and remind whoever comes to do a complete job whenever I see them. The last time I had them mulch, the crew discovered they had over estimated the needed mulch by maybe 20% and instead of loading it back on their truck (or recommending to me to store the excess for future use) the crew proceeded to find places to put the excess mulch which besides costing me more ended up damaging both some lawn and ground cover areas. I do not use them to mulch anymore but contine to use them on the lawn.

Everything went very well. They were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They were recommended to us by our neighbors and previous home owners. So, we chose them. They are certainly not the cheapest, though. We pay them $80 a month. They maintain our lawn. They seem to be reliable and competent. Mostly, we don’t have to worry about our lawn. We’ll surely use them in the future.

Poor follow up.....no debris removal...let plants die without discussing with homeowner.Did not maintain weed control.

THEY ARE A VERY GOOD SMALL BUSINESS. THEIR WORKERS COME RIGHT OUT, AND MAKE SURE THEY GET IT DONE THE WAY THAT I WANT IT TO BE. THEY HAVE MY YARD LOOKING REALLY GOOD.
