Paid nearly $150 for the tech to come out and tell me that they’d ordered the wrong part for my dishwasher. Weeks later I’m being hounded for an additional $50 as a restocking fee for the wrong part they ordered. Definitely using someone else next time.
Description of Work: Replace leaky upper spray arm gasket. Instead they ordered a door gasket, so repair was not possible on this visit.

After an initial leak repair on our dishwasher, other issues appeared immediately. After multiple service trips where issues were misdiagnosed, we finally had a technician perform proper diagnostics and identify the issue. Mr. Appliance was willing to refund all our parts and service charges only if we continued to pay for more work. As we wanted to simply buy a new dishwasher rather than award them more work, they insisted on charging us for service visits. Poor business practice to recoup a full service visit cost given the relatively low cost to the business to send a tech out on a 20 minute visit.

This is the worse customer experience I have EVER seen. My washing machine needed a new locking unit which I was told was an EASY FIX.. They charged me $127 before looking at it, but I was told this was for the visit. They then were going to charge me another $200 plus for the part .. BUT, they couldn't ever find the right part .. and kept lying to me .. saying "oh, they sent us the wrong part". When I called to complain after multiple visits by repairmen, the Owner told me they would not refund my money, but if I wanted it fixed, it would be an additional $60". What? DO NOT EVER CALL THEM!

Great service. Professional and efficient.
Description of Work: Our above range Microwave stopped heating. Cost of parts & Repair was going to be more expensive than replacing so had them come back and install new microwave. $220 for installation ($89 diagnostic fee paid during initial visit was credited towards the installation fee).

All I needed was a simple dryer repair.
Description of Work: Had a dryer they were doing a warranty repair on. It took them 7 trips to my house over a coarse of 2 months and still did not fix my dryer. Another company out of Greensboro was called and they fixed the dryer on the first trip. Needed a part that was less than 20.00 and took them less than 30 minutes to fix. Then to top it off the technican pushed down on the top of my dryer to close the top and put a huge dent in the top of my almost new dryer. I called the manager"Tim" and he all but, called me a lier , and said his guy did not do it. I was making it up and they would not cover fixing it. During the coarse of the 7 trips they did not show 3 times and I had to call and find out why and reschedule. They were suppose to call me before they come. This happened once. I was on the phone very single week for 2 months getting it rescheduled because of them not showing.So my advise is do NOT call this company for any kind of repair unless you want to be without your item for a very long time and a lot of money if your item is not under warranty. TERRIBLE company and terrible manager.

I am not sure what company this customer used for her dryer repair, but it was definitely not Mr Appliance of Cary. I think I would be just as frustrated as this customer, based on her description of the events, however Mr Appliance of Cary has never done work for this customer (name not included) ; we do not now and have never had a manager named "Tim" (or any employee named "Tim" for that matter); we do not and have never serviced the Burlington, NC area (Burlington is nowhere near the Mr Appliance of Cary service area; and finally, we would never treat a customer the way this customer describes.
