Alysia was very responsive and helpful in figuring out how to get the work done safely since kudzu growth covered electrical line and we needed to coordinate with Duke Energy. Crew was very professional and thorough and walked me through everything they’d done at the end of the job to be certain I was satisfied with their work.

The proposed work was completely outlined with each cost; workers came punctually; work was done on one day; had chance to inspect and comment; great improvement in appearance of landscape.

They did an in person estimate and scheduled the service within the week. Though I was not able to be there, they performed the work well and followed up providing care instructions to insure best germination. Work was as promised at a reasonable price with no hassle.

Highly recommended! Good prices, great work, outstanding customer service, and highly ethical business practices. I've been signed up for a biweekly mowing service. My grass type doesn't grow much during the colder months, and I declined to have mulching or another type of grass planted. Their crews noticed this and suggested that mowing might be unnecessary for these months. Instead of continually collecting money from me to perform a very easy service, they kept my best interests in mind, and proactively reached out to suggest that I move to service on-request. I'm moving to cutting on request, and they've earned a lifetime customer.

Lawns by Carlito was amazing! Knowledgable, friendly, professional, well priced, and very easy to work with. I interviewed 3 other lawn companies and can, with confidence, highly recommend them. In fact, we liked the work so much they are doing our monthly yard maintenance.

Everything went great, with no surprises. I dealt 100% with Alysia, from start to finish. She answered the phone and quickly booked an estimate appointment for me. Then she did the estimate herself and booked a date that worked with our moving schedule. To my surprise, Alysia knocked on the door on the date of service and was part of the crew that worked on our home. She was a great communicator the whole way, and we were so pleased with the work the team did that our only regret is that we didn't hire them years ago.

They carried out a big clean up for us last year and we were very happy with their work. They also do every other week mowing and trimming for us. They have been responsive, bill quickly and easy to work with. I received a reminder email about service this Spring. As a procrastinator, I really appreciated the gentle reminder and quickly got on their schedule. They do a thorough, professional job.

They have been very good. They haven’t been able to do their job because there is so much rain but the service has been fine.

My brief conversation with one of the crew members on their first day at my home went well. I kept it short, to let him continue his work. My email exchanges with Alysia (who handles setting up accounts, service agreements, billing, etc.) have been cordial and understanding. The whole organization appears efficient and professional. I imagine they handle lawns much larger than my small-to-midsize corner lot.

This was the first time that I used them. They showed up and did the work. They did the work when I was not home and then sent me an email invoice.

We contacted them the beginning of September and Alysia and Carlito came out and gave us an estimate that same week, on 9/3. We compared their estimate and reviews with the others we were looking at and decided to go with Carlito and Alysia. They were very professional and Alysia was easy to talk with. She scheduled the work for the following Friday. They weren't able to finish everything that day, so they scheduled a follow-up for the following Wednesday. They did all the yard work we asked them to do in a timely manner and asked us to check and be sure it was done how we wanted before paying them. After checking it out we were very pleased and we mailed them a check. If we have major yard work that needs to be done in the future we will certainly call them again.

This company is fantastic to work with. We had just moved into our new home and the grass really needed cutting. We had called other lawn service providers and they would either not provide service unless we had a long term agreement or they would not return our phone calls. Let us tell you about Lawns by Carlito. We emailed them on Wednesday night. Alysia called us on Thursday morning. Within TWO hours, Carlito and his crew were taking care of our lawn. Our lawn looked great after they had finished. This is a very friendly, professional and customer oriented company. We would highly recommend them to others in the Durham area.. We certainly look forward to using their services in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about Carlito and Alysia Suarez and their team. They have been caring for my yard for the past two years. They are exceptionally responsive, responsible, professional, and they are a pleasure in all interactions. Carlito's work is impeccable. In addition to biweekly mowing during the growing season, they have trimmed trees and bushes beautifully, blown leaves, removed fallen branches, and done aeration/seeding/fertilization. They have been extremely respectful of my desire for a natural lawn without added chemicals. Their work is superb and I recommend them highly! 10/11/15: Just wanted to add an update. I have been a happy customer of Lawns by Carlito for four years now. They continue to be extremely professional and responsive and my lawn looks really good despite my preference for them not to use chemicals.

They were excellent and showed up when they were supposed to. They came out, looked at the project and gave me some suggestions; we agreed on a plan. Then they came out on the date and time that they said they would and did exactly what they said they would do. I am very satisfied and will use them in the future. There were several people who came out and they were pleasant. Their pricing was very good and I was quite pleased.

Everything went good we were very pleased with there work and will be using carlito them again.
