this company is great at quick response, this is my 3rd experience, and as always, they were on time, considerate, knowledgeable, diligent, & pleasant.....they try to make sure you know all your options, and are willing to work with you on best price for the best result, my service person this time was Matthew, who went above and beyond to make sure my job was handled quickly,correctly, professionally, and amicably Edit

Her experience went very well. The staff was professional and knowledgeable in their field. She was pleased with the service and would recommend this company to others.

I declined the service and used my Angie's coupon to cover the visit. I went to Lowe's and bought 2 thermostats and replaced both in under an hour including the trip to Lowe's. Total cost was approx. $40. Other plumbers with coupons in the Angies List book that month were offering full service on water heaters for I think the tech was trying to take advantage of me. He spent more time in the truck getting an estimate than he did in the house. The water heater is easily accessible in the laundry room.

The plumber reviewed the current water pressure, tested it for a new pressure valve and determined that it needed a hammer valve. He talked through my options with me not making any promises that he couldn't keep. Very friendly and explained things in a way that I could understand.

Discovered our back flow pipe had busted when I got home that evening with our infant. JD Plumbing calmed me and said a technician would be over shortly. Aaron showed up, confirmed the issue, and offered to replace the busted item as well as winterized it. Since it was after hours, the service call was approx $90. The initial total came to about 416 bucks but Aaron stated that he liked children and would charge us less. Altogether, the company was quick to respond, friendly and professional.

They were attentive, on time and friendly. They did not have the opportunity to take very good photos because the pipes were full of water due to another issue; however, the tech took the time to crawl under the house and identify some issues.

Thomas was the plumber in this case. It was 6pm on a sunday when we realised the huge amount of damage done by a huge leak in the bathroom, and that the drains were backed up spewing fetid sewer water into every sink and out of the walls in the downstairs bathroom we had had demolished. Thomas was literally the only person in a 25 mile radius willing to come out and see us that night - not ARS or Roto Rooter, who apparently were too busy. He came, he looked around, and he completely unblocked the drain outside. He was quick, friendly, helpful and not pushy. It was expensive - but I'm not really a plumber and thus can't say what's cheap for blocking a huge drain blockage. He also knew what to do to stop it happening again - uproot the tree in the front to kill the roots. But this isn't all he did. He looked at the damage and actually handed over a card AND called a restoration firm to get the damage fixed. He knew straight up that the damage was really bad and needed to be taken care of, had a place on file that would deal with my insurance, and actually called them himself to give them all the information they needed. Another story for another day, but they came the next day and are in the process of taking care of everything. Thomas was professional and hardworking, and i signed up to JD's $80-or-so a year plan. Partly because with the 15% off it was actually $20 cheaper than the bill. Weird, right? But seriously, great guy and great service, will be using them from now on.

After a really bad experience... I got a call and a full refund. I appreciate the Supervisor reaching out to me to ensure that I received a refund.

For them just to come it was $100. He did fix the drain and it was an additional $250 to unclogged the drain. After unclogging the drain he tried to sell me another service that would have cost me over $700. The drain clogged two days later. I had my normal plumber come out that following monday and he fixed the clog at a much lesser rate. The plumber was nice but the prices were very high. I wouldn't recommend them. Update 10/12/2013: They have given me a full refund, and apologized for the service.

It went well. The worker was personable and explained what he was looking for and then what he was going to do. He gave me some options and explained them too.

JD Plumbing was on time, worked fast, clean, professional.

The work was completed quickly and efficiently. Rooms were cleaned up afterward. The first day the problem was diagnosed and then he returned to install the drain after the weekend. I thought the price for the diagnosis was a little bit high ($271) since it took less than an hour and no major demolitiion (for which I was glad). However, the main thing is that the problem was diagnosed correctly and fixed in a timely manner.

The technicians were very polite, on time and did a good job. They actually came out the same day that I calIed them. thought the price was a bit high but I had not compared it with other vendors so I do not know that for certain.

Friday night I noticed a spot in the lawn that was soaked. We called JD Plumbing. He came Saturday morning and spent the day digging up the pipe and repairing it. He was courteous and got the work done.

Tried to turn the old water valve off at back of refrigerator and it was old and faulty and began to leak. My son went online and saw the ratings for different companies and the other companies did not match convenience and price and mostly rating. Don came promptly and did a very neat and thorough job. He was very professional and did the work quickly.

It was great service.

It went very, very well. Mike provided great service from start to finish. He listened patiently as I explained what I thought I knew about the problem (an inspection report revealed a possible issue with the pressure reducing valve and it was best to have it replaced). Mike understood what needed to be done and got right to work. He went beyond to the call of duty when another piece was needed, he quickly went to Lowes to get the piece to get a reading on the pressure and finish up the job - I really appreciated that (because he probably had other things to do)! He was professional, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Hope not to have a plumbing problem again (or at least anytime soon), but if so, would not hesitate call JD Plumbing - thanks again Mike!

I am renovating both of my bathrooms because of some longstanding water damage to both rooms. After removing most of the floor in the guest bath, my renovation company noticed active water leaking on a pipe and suggested I call a plumber to investigate. I called JD Plumbing on a Tuesday afternoon and they were able to send Donnie over Wednesday morning. Donnie inspected the water leak in the bathrooms and in the crawl space and determined that the source of the leak was a faulty valve in the shower of the master bath. Since that bathroom will be gutted as soon as the guest bathroom is done, he recognized that fixing the problem didn't make sense. Instead he discussed ways to minimize water leakage until the other bathroom is finished. The best/easiest/cheapest solution he came up with was for me to turn off the water supply each day when I leave for work, which will prevent further water leaking. Donnie also suggested replacing some old pipes in the guest bath that were ok now, but might fail soon. My renovation company has their own plumber who will likely do the work, so he mentioned this not to get more work but because he wanted to make sure my plumbing didn't fail down the road. In the end, he essentially charged me a diagnostic fee but managed to save me a whole lot of time and money in the process. Donnie was professional, conscientious, very knowledgeable, and obviously cared about helping me find the overall best solution to my problem- even if that meant his company wouldn't make money on it. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I had used JD Plumbing before and very much liked them: nice folks, competent plumbers. I figured they were my plumbers from here on, and I told others to use them. I needed an outdoor spigot replaced, so I called and told them I didn't need an estimate. I trusted them since I'd used them before. It took them a few days to get to me because of other folks' emergencies they needed to help with. I was fine with that. Then they did the work. I couldn't believe the bill. They charged me $250 for 1/2 hour work. The spigot was about $50.00, so I figured they were charging me a labor cost of $400 an hour. I called and they were very nice. I was told there is a "book" that tells them what to charge. I kept expressing how ridiculous it seemed to me to charge this much for such a small job. They reduced my bill somewhat, so I ended up paying them about $220 an hour for the work instead of $400. I will not use JD Plumbing again.

He was right on time, friendly, professional and fixed the leak immediately. We were also offered a $10 discount for displaying the company sign in our yard which we did.

They were fabulous. We got up one morning and our hot water heater had leaked all over the garage floor. We painted because we knew he use to do something really fast. We didn't have any clue who to call, we just called one of the first plumbers we came across in yellow pages and we had the best experience with them. They sent someone out immediately when we first called and this was like first thing in the morning. Within an hour or two someone was already here. Not only did he arrange for us to have our hot water heater fixed within the same day but he was so reassuring. He kept telling me to calm down and that everything was going to be okay. He said he was going to take care of it and he took care of everything. I haven't forgotten that because I was so grateful that day. It was excellent. They responded so quickly and they were so reassuring. Our hot water heater has been perfect in the months since then. We are so grateful and we definitely will call them back for anything in the future. I was so upset but he was asking me to calm down and said everything was going to be alright. We were satisfied with the price.

Aaron was very prompt, polite and businesslike. He explained everything to us every step of the way and completed the job very efficiently.

now the dishwasher is functioning much more efficiently. the service was very good - prompt - courteous - thorough. the cost was painful though, i am not sure if it was unreasonable, as i do not really know what the going rate is, as i have not had much plumbing work done.

They were wonderful. The work was good, a little pricy but by standards of plumbing it was worth it. They have the expertise.They were running late but called to let me know. They did follow up calls to make sure I was happy, which shocked me. They even sent me a Christmas card. As far as customer communication they were excellent.

A+ for the whole experience.
