JD Plumbing solved a problem we'd been having with our laundry room drain for many years. We liked his service so much that we signed up for their program that will save us money should we have any problems in the future. We definitely would use JD Plumbing again.o

I sent them a message through Angie's List on Sunday night, explaining that we wanted to get the toilets replaced as soon as possible, since we have two small children and two of the toilets were acting up. They called back that night and scheduled us for the next morning at a time we chose. Tom came out and had a look, talked with us about the replacement toilets, gave us an estimate after only a few minutes doing research, and started to work. I had a chance to clean under the old toilets before the new ones went in, which was very helpful. The old ones had slow leaks that had been causing a musty smell we couldn't place. All told, it only took about six hours even with Tom going to pick up the toilets we wanted from the supplier, clean up, and everything. The work was priced as estimated. I don't want anyone to think that the price was high, because we bought top of the line replacements. Obviously, you should ask if you want a different model. We had estimated based on prior research that this job would cost $1200-1500, so we are very pleased with the price. The plumber was courteous and neat and wore shoe covers. He seemed very trustworthy as well. We even left to the grocery store while he was working. We signed up for their annual inspection membership as well, which gave us a pretty big discount on the work, plus insures that we will catch any future plumbing issues early.

this started off as a do it yourself project. i couldn't pull the shower cartridge out so i decided to ask a plumber to pull it out for me. i did the rest: turn off the water, pull off the handle, install new cartridge, replace handle, turn water back on. all he did was pull out the cartridge for me and he charged $140. to do the whole job w/ me supplying the part was $270. i had gotten a quote from another company that was $170 which included the part and the entire job. i didn't go with them b/c jd plumbing had a coupon and i thought the price would be similar (jd would not give estimate over the phone). i should have gone w/ the other company: project services. so buyer beware, this company charges way more than the competition.

Called and scheduled repairman for a small leak.... consistent but not an emergency so was able to schedule pretty quickly. Repairman fully explained what was wrong and my options for repair. Once we decided best solution, he worked quickly and was very friendly and professional. Took about 2 hrs start to finish. He also offered a maintenance agreement option, but I declined.

I had an unexplained issue with the shower stall seeming to be leaking. The plumber was on time, very professional, did several tests, went under the house - was here for at least an hour. He never could find anything, but it wasn't for lack of trying. If we continue to see issues, we will call him back.

They came out right away. I have used them a couple of times. I was surprised that they could come by that day. He told me that he knew that it was going to be a problem for me and he said that he was already in the office and he would swing by. The first time I used them I had an underground leak. They recommended that I find someone to locate the leak so that they wouldn't be digging from the curb, back, to save me money. A couple of people I called, told me that I should turn my water off and they would come out in a couple of days. When I called JD Plumbing, they said: "We know its a holiday but we'll come out so you don't have to shut your water off for two days." They were extremely responsive to a situation for me. They are very conscientious. They made really good recommendations to help me save money. I think I paid close to $1200.00 but there was a lot of work involved in it. For the sink, the price was extremely reasonable. Rather than making me wait, and they didn't charge me extra; it was very reasonable. I would give them a B as far as cost goes. They really know what they are doing and they care about what they are doing. They are qualified, professional and I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to people but I do think that the pricing is a little higher than what I would like.

He is really helpful. He doesn't mind explaining anything to me. He's on time. In fact, he's a couple of minutes early. He couldn't do the repairs, but they pulled the wrong valves on me. I had good customer service from him. He seems to know what he's doing. He was very professional.

After receiving the report from the water department indicating that the leak was on my property and my responsibility to repair, JD Plumbing was recommended by a neighbor and I made a service call. First, they recommended that I contract the services of another company to detect the location of the leak to avoid extra expenses of digging around. After doing this, I called back on a Friday afternoon and they were able to send someone out first thing on Monday to dig down to the line, which was deeper than expected, and correct the problem. He also showed me the part he replaced and suggested that when there is a future leak (the line is plastic and not copper), that I save the money on the leak detection and apply that towards replacing the entire line with more reliable piping. In all, the problem was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.

I had a huge clog in a wall pipe. The plumber was very straightforward about my options (chemical treatment or snake it) and was not at all standoffish or brisk with me for having some know-how of my own (though this project was clearly beyond me). He started with the chemical treatment but didn't charge me when it did nothing. Then he used the snake and did what I could not - extracted a 5 foot long hair clog! I thought the price was very reasonable considering that he was there 1.5 hours at least. I mentioned Angie's List and got a 5% discount. Very nice and professional. Three hours from phone call to arrival. Arrived within 10 minutes of scheduled time.

They are wonderful. I spent about $60 for their service. They were pretty quick in responding and I don’t think I had to wait for them. I would use their services in the future too.
