I think their price is a little high but the quality of their work balances that out. This is the second time I've used them this year. They did a very nice job of helping make sure the invoice reflected what happened so my insurance company could reimburse part of it. They understood exactly what me and the insurance company were looking for for what happened, how it happened, and the course of repair. It felt like it went on for a long time.

Tech was on time as agreed. MOST importantly, when I gave the tech a description of the issue and that I wondered if the main sewer line may need to be replaced he immediately told me he'd be happy to work up an estimate to replace the main line but that would likely not fix the issue. He then spent ~30 mins under the house, after donning a disposable clean suit. I heard him shaking and poking around the pipes and moving around all of the main plumbing lines: kitchen, washer, bath/shower, toilets. He then came into the house (after taking off the clean suit and donning boot covers) and inspected the kitchen under sink plumbing, the washer drain, the tub, and toilets. He asked me lots of questions about sounds and other drainage behavior. He then walked me through the cause of the issue and possible repairs based on his inspection. We talked about how the repair might go (timing, length, what to expect, etc.). Replace and enlarge drain line from kitchen sink to main internal sewer line, replace and enlarge washer drain from the wall to the main sink drain. He went outside and worked up a detailed estimate and then reviewed it with me before sending it directly to me via email. I explained I was getting 1 more estimate and would be in touch. PART 2: I ended up going with JD Plumbing, with the original tech who visited my house. He did a GREAT job, fixing the washer overflow and gurgling, finding a tub drain leak and fixing, and finding a toilet leak. He walked me through the 2 new issues and what he would do to fix. He then worked up an estimate on the spot, reviewed it with me and sent to me via email. We scheduled a second appt. in 2 days. He showed up at 8am on the designated day and got to work. I had purchased a new toilet and bathroom vanity sink combo and he installed these in addition to coming up with an economical and effective fix for the toilet leak (did not have to replace the floor or tear up tile, he repaired from below the house), tub drain (replaced drain pipe from tub to main sewer line, removed a 50+ YO canister trap and put in a straight drain), and replaced an outside spigot that blew out when the water was turned back on (the spigot was already broken and leaking so the pressure was too much for it). Another EXCELLENT job. I've hired this tech/JD Plumbing for 2 final jobs: replacing the kitchen sink plumbing, install of new sink, removing garbage disposal (doesn't work and I don't want a new one installed), gas water heater replacement & installation of WH drain line (was not originally installed), and finally spigot replacement for front of house (leaking). Final words: this tech explains exactly what he will do, gives regular updates throughout the job, stops and consults with you IF he finds something different than expected and always has a number of options in his mind for repair. He tells you the approximate cost and then works up a proper estimate, sends to you on the spot. I highly recommend this company and the tech, Billy S., is professional, extremely knowledgeable and very capable.

They may not be the cheapest, but they are certainly reliable. A lot of our friends use them also.
