JAD was hired with the complete understanding that inspections were to be included within their scope. After being told to "p*** off" after several attempts to get inspections done, I was then informed that permits were never pulled and had no intentions to do so. New panel box, new sub panel in detached garage, no GFCI around sinks. Asked several times for a license, never got. Normally I would just deal with this on my own, to be honest I can't sit back and let this happen to another family. My lawyer is now involved after failing the inspections from the permits I pulled. The state board has already started an investigation on JAD. The state has no idea who this "company" is. Hey one last thing, check out their website, no longer active. True criminal activity.

We used JAD electric for a kitchen remodel. Initially, I was very impressed by the professionalism and costs. However, that did not last long. After accepting the quote, I spent several weeks calling and texting to try and arrange details. There was no response... until the manager accidentally sent me pictures from his fishing trip. After this miscommunication we were able to flush things out. Finally, they started working. Near the end of the first day, I received a notice that the cost was going to be $1k+ more (33% more). I called and they said they were mistaken. After day 2, they said they finished and wanted $700 more. I double checked the request and they quoted items that were not on the list. They came back with $500 more. This I could not argue with, except that their cost for two 3 way dimmer switches was $130 and I've seen them on Lowes or Amazon for $25 a piece. In their defense, they quoted 2 FTEs days of labor and it took 4 FTEs days of labor, while they upcharged only 2 hours of labor. But still, I felt like they did a low ball estimate and found ways to make up the costs later. Things they left that were wrong: 1) Unfinished drywall (had to call to request finish) 2) 2 outlets not working (They said the GFCI was hit. Yet, somehow the GFCI only triggered the new outlets; even the outlet containing the GFCI was still working) 3) Flashing lights ([*** Link removed ***] 4) Upside down switch 5) They said I would not need a new outlet for the cooktop. Now, I am trying to figure out how to wire my 3 wire cooktop to my 4 wire outlet. While, the technician that came out was very courteous and precise with his measurements - it seems that there are things that have just been left, "not quite right." If honesty, completeness, and professionalism are something you care about, I'd look elsewhere.

Everything went well at first, they were aware before the first appt that some lighting had not arrived. I was told no problem they could return to take care of this. Also during install there was some confusion regarding a down rod for a ceiling fan, again no problem we’ll take care of this when we return to install lighting. We’ll 2 months have past and I’ve made at least 3 unreturned phone call. So JAD is very unreliable! I’d recommend trying another contractor who can provide follow if necessary.

Amazing service and highly knowledgeable. Great customer service and more than competive pricing. I will be calling JAD for all my electrical needs and whenever I start any new project on my home!

Jorge was absolutely amazing. His skills as a Electrician are of the highest level, he put in/changed 18 lights in my home including Recessed Lighting, Ceiling fans, pendent and Drop Lighting outdoor lighting he also did some work on my breaker to give it more support to handle the lights I was putting in. He also installed 2 TVs and my surround sound systems and hid every wire perfectly. He was priced fair in accordance with his level of skill. I will be using his services again.
