Great job, great customer service.

Elvia, the head of High Quality Cleaning Service, has provided outstanding and professional service for our family for nearly 9 years, and I don't know what I'd do without her! Knowing that we can focus on our family time after busy workdays instead of housework has been essential to our happiness. Her crew is 100% reliable - we've never been stood up - and trustworthy to a fault. (Even a nickel found on the floor is left out on the counter so we find it when we come home.) They are flexible about the schedule (important when the kids' schedules change), accommodating of the pets, and treat our house like they would their own. When the team arrives, it's a whirlwind of activity, and the house is cleaned quickly, exactly as I ask, using products Elvia and I choose together. They have considerable expertise about maintaining different materials (stainless steel, wood floors, granite), and have pointed out maintenance issues they notice that I might not. We've also had some special cleaning needs once in a while like when we were getting ready to sell a house and then when we moved out and needed the old house cleaned. (We've kept her through three addresses.) I also appreciate that Elvia is reachable (email, text, phone), very responsive, and accepts checks. Her prices are quite reasonable, and she'll work within a budget. I would recommend her to anyone within her service area without hesitation.

Elvia and her team work well both with and without direction. I just need an overall housecleaning (with no particular requirements) once a week. I have two boys who are involved in sports, and also a dog, and they deal with all of that graciously. Some of my colleagues for whom she works are more particular (they like things done a particular way or else want special cleaning projects done periodically) and they are very happy as well. Elvia will work with both commercial and organic products, which is really terrific. And she also tries to be flexible when I need to have her come on a different day than my regular scheduled time. The two women with whom she works have been with her for several years and they are all extremely trustworthy. Nothing has ever gone missing on their watch. Elvia manages to keep them despite the usual turnover in this business because she pays them a weekly salary and gives them vacation time even when business gets slow--for example over the summers, since a lot of her customers are Duke employees who go away for a time. This makes for tremendous continuity. Finally, because there are always two or three of them cleaning at the same time, they are in and out of the house quickly compared with a single housecleaner. I've found it to be a really terrific situation.
