Hansell Painting

When we were new in the area it was our good luck to find Hansell Painting for our first painting project. The most recently completed job for us was the fourth in two years. Both the process and the product are excellent. The whole crew does a great job of communicating well and following through. The work is done beautifully, with attention to detail. We recommend Hansell Painting to anyone looking for a good team to do top-quality work.

I hired Hansell painting to paint my kitchen cabinets based on some client work of his done in Durham that he wrote about in an article for Fine Homebuilding. This is speciality painting more akin to automotive painting (HVLP) than typical brush based painting. My cabinets were in great physical shape but out of style. All I can say is that the results are breathtaking and beautiful. The finish looks like it came from the factory. My only knock on the process is that he ran about 2 weeks behind schedule. I was more concerned about quality than timeliness as I hope to have these cabinets for another 15 years.

Great. The work started early in July and it just wrapped up. The majority of the workers' time was spent preparing the surfaces for painting. There was still lead based paint on the columns so the workers had to wear protective gear and follow government guidelines doing the work. The end result is very impressive.

My experience with Hansell Painting was entirely positive. Although it was a big job, the painters were both professional and efficient. There were enough painters on the crew to make the job go quickly, and they were well-supervised.

My experience with Hansell painting was excellent. They came and gave me a detailed estimate of the work prior to the job. They also explained what they would do to contain any lead present in the old paint. This was of particular importance to me as I am pregnant and we also have a toddler. They went out of their way to schedule our paint job while my family was out of town so that we could avoid the fumes. After the paint job I found some paint on our kitchen cabinets and had trouble opening some of our windows and they sent several men to fix the problem the next day. The house was left clean when they were done. I was very pleased with the quality of the paint job.

They were just professional. They were really good. They came and got the work done. They left nothing to clean up and there were no problems.
