It started out pretty well. Their estimator came to our house, took measurements, listened to what we wanted, discussed options and gave a few suggestions. He gave us contact information for the cabinet folks & we went there & picked out what we wanted. Then we waited...and waited...and waited....finally after TWO months, we received an estimate for just the kitchen part of the job - which was a little odd, because part of that was to move our laundry area - but that was not included in this particular estimate. It took another month for them to actually bring a plumber out to get an idea of what moving the laundry would take and finally give us an all around estimate - which totally blew up our budget. After going back to the drawing board, getting a new estimate for reconfigured kitchen without moving the laundry....nothing. All in all, whenever we wanted to get any sort of update from them, we had to reach out to them - and their response was typically "busy working on a new construction project" Very unprofessional and not what I would expect. It seems to us as if they created a renovations business as an arm to their parent corporation when the economy was down, but once things started back up, they slacked off on their renovation business. We knew that we were a small potatoes project, but felt that if they didn't have the time/resources to meet our timelines, then they should have said so from the start (instead of stating the they could meet them and then continually dropping the ball)
